Chapter Seven - Times are changing

(*a few hours later*)
The gladers start getting ready for their final meal of the day while tiptoeing around Andrea as if she could break at any given moment, Andrea notices that all the boys are discluding her from their conversations about the responsibilities of every glader in the maze. The boys circle around the table discussing what appeared to be a secret conversation because when Andrea sat down the conversation immediately changed-
"Um, what were you guys talking about?" Andrea asked, as she sat down next to Gally. The boys kept glancing at one another trying to conduct an excuse-
"Oh, nothing to worry about" Gally says, but Andrea didn't believe him so she glares at Newt knowing he will crumble under pressure.
"Newt.. what is going on?"
"Andrea, I am so sorry, I know you hate being lied to and I can not lie to you, we were talking about provoking your rights to rule the glade with Gally due to recent events"
The boys start freaking out because they know that this news will not go down well with Andrea, they start to shout at Newt telling him that it was a mistake to tell her what they were planning. Andrea shoots up, you can see her blood start to boil, and the boys know that they are in trouble, they were surprised to see Andrea walk away until she stops dead in her tracks-
"You know what, no you do not get to do this to me, if it wasn't for me none of you would survive. I have been a good friend to you all and Gally you are agreeing to this? You would be the one who destroys the glade if it wasn't for me coming up in that stupid box!" Everyone falls silent while Gally approaches her, the suspense of what is about to happen is killing them. Gally is only a few feet away from Andrea when he watches her eyes change, from the golden brown of an autumn leaf to a seductive shade of red. He begins to worry about her health as he fears that her injuries were more severe than they initially thought, he began to panic and ran towards her, completely ignoring the negative thoughts building inside his mind. As he reached out to touch Andrea, she wailed-
"DON'T TOUCH ME, I CAN PROTECT MYSELF" as she speaks she sends a wave of mystical energy shaking everything within a twelve mile radius knocking each and every glader off their feet. The boys find it very hard to ground themselves once again as if a force was holding them down until it suddenly weakens and Andrea collapses.
The boys begin to question what the hell just occurred while Gally shoots to his feet and rushes over to a lifeless Andrea, he panics and screams-
"HELP! SOMEONE HELP, I DON'T THINK SHE IS BREATHING" Everyone gathers around both of them, as Gally orders the med-jacks to collect their equipment and to save her life! For what felt like a few hours, Andrea finally takes a breath and people around her step back afraid of what she is capable of. She wakes up unaware of her surroundings and calls for Niklaus before drifting back off to sleep.
(*Gally's POV*)
"Who the hell is Niklaus?" Gally asks the council. No one had an answer for him which makes matters worse. He repeats himself demanding an answer, just the way old Gally used to. Again, no one was able to give him an answer so he storms off to the watchtower, where he and Andrea used to lay, reminiscing about the times before the chaos.
"She's awake!" Newt shouts up to him. Gally hesitates for a second before realising he can not blame her for what has happened, and he needs to know who Niklaus is.
(*Back to Andrea*)
"My head is hurting, and my body aches. Why am I back here Thomas?" Andrea asks.
"I will let Gally explain to you what has happened,as I feel you would rather hear it from him" Thomas answers as he leaves the medical hut.
"Gally? What's wrong, why won't you look at me?" she says with tears in her eyes.
Gally glances at her and realises that she is scared. With a soft tone he says -
"I don't know how to explain this but you got really angry like I've never seen you this angry before, it's like something just possessed you, and as I tried to get closer to you,  you screamed that you can protect yourself which threw everyone to the floor and you fell unconscious"
Andrea laughs "you are joking right?"
Gally's face grows concerned.
"You aren't joking are you? Why can I not remember any of this?" Andrea questioned.
"There's something else," Gally exclaimed.
"Gally? What is it?"
"Who's Niklaus?" Gally questioned.
"Who?"
"Andrea don't lie to me who is Niklaus?"
"Gally please I don't know who you are talking about!"
"You woke up for a split second and called for Niklaus"
Andrea grew silent, she doesn't know anyone called Niklaus, is her subconscious trying to tell her something? Is it a memory trying to resurface? Andrea starts to cry, her emotions are heightened, she feels like her head is going to explode.
Gally and Andrea stay silent until a loud noise scares them both. Gally rushes outside to contain the chaos with Andrea following slowly behind him. They look to find that the box has shot back down from where it came from. The boys share the same confused looks, until the box instantly comes back up with two new greenies. The gladers are silent, as they assume the greenies are a couple years older than them based on their appearances. The dark haired, pristine, 6ft male is conscious and shakes awake the greenie next to him. They both exchange looks of relief as they jump out of their positions and approach Andrea-
"Andrea, is it really you? We haven't seen you in centuries. We tried to find you but not even Freya's locator spells could pinpoint where you were. What the hell happened to your face?!"' he says. Gally stands in front of Andrea in a protective stance as he questions the men before him-
"And you are?" he says strongly. "I'm Elijah and I'd recommend you speak to us with the utmost respect"
Niklaus chuckles at Elijah's introduction as he steps in front of him-
"I'm Niklaus, now let us speak to our sister before I rip your heart from out of your chest!"
