I entered the penthouse one last time and saw multiple bags sitting on the floor near the front door letting me know that Daniel was here.

Just as I look up I see him walk out of the hallway that lead to the kids' rooms.

I walk quickly trying to get that last bag and leave before a word could get said but of course he had to try something.

"Austyn stop" he growls taking my wrist into his hand.

"Let me go" I say through gritted teeth. I didn't turn around instead I yanked my wrist from his hand and continued walking into what once was our shared bedroom.

The tall blonde continues to follow me into the room and slams the door behind me so I can't leave.

"Listen to me" he grumbles still by the door.

"Why should I?" I respond laughing and throwing my hands out beside me. "I trusted you and you threw it away like it was nothing. I don't have to listen to anything you say nor do I want to"

"It was a mistake"

"Yeah it was. Just like this relationship" I respond pointing between us. I grabbed the bag and walked towards the door where Daniel was still standing.

"Move" I grumbled trying to walk around his frame.

He just side stepped to where he was in front of me again. I tried going around him again but he still was in front of me.

"Daniel you need to let me leave"

"Where's my daughter?" He asks looking down at me, anger was very evident in his eyes and voice making my tough act falter from being scared.

"My daughter is safe at my new place. You can see her whenever you're not on tour" I hiss pushing him to the side harshly and walking out the door.

I made it a few steps before I was slammed against the wall, trapped from having a tall muscular body holding me there.

"I'm not letting you run away from me. Not again" he growls lowering his head so our faces were just centimeters apart. He had to place both of his hands on either side of my head so I couldn't try and move away from him.

"This was your second chance and you ruined it" I shove my finger into his chest harshly trying to get some reaction of him backing away from me but his death stare remained on his face.

"I know I did but I'm not letting you run away from me. We've been through to much and I'm not letting this be the thing that ends us"

"Then why the hell did you do it?!" I yell. Our faces were still close together and my body was still trapped.

"That night before you did it, before you kissed her and only god knows what else you two did, you told me you loved me so look me in the eyes and tell me that it was all a lie, that everything that we've ever done together was a mistake" I spoke again after a while of standing in silence.

"I- I- I- can't" he stutters out.

I scoff and push him backwards to the best of my ability, finally being able to get out of the house.

I closed the door behind me and heard glass shatter making me jump.

As soon as I got back to my new apartment I slammed the door shut and threw the bag on the kitchen island.

My hands found there way to my hair and tugged on it as I started pacing.

"What the hell happened?" Gabbie asks walking into the kitchen.

"He-" I couldn't even finish my answer before the sobs escaped my body. My hands covered my mouth to try and quiet them but the attempts failed miserably. "He was there"

The once indestructible walls finally fell to the ground letting out the tsunami of feelings that I had pent up ever since last year at my dad's funeral.

All of the anger, sadness, anxiety flowed out of my body in the form of never ending tears that cascaded down my face and to the floor.

"Why did he have to do it?" I cry out feeling arms wrap around me. "Why did he do it?"
