The Reveal (Early Update)

I won't be updating next Wednesday so here's an early one.

Mitch ran home knowing Scott wouldn't answer the door. But it was worth the travel for his one and only love. He dropped his phone near a storm drain, but luckily it didn't fall through. Still, Mitch didn't go back for it. He knocked on the door, realizing that it was around one o'clock. To his surprise, the door opened. Unfortunately, it wasn't Scott, it was Alex.
"Hey, Mitch." Alex said.

"Hi Alex. Is Scott awake?"

"Um, yea, he got a bit drunk last night. I'm still trying to watch over him." Mitch heard the TV on and Scott was talking on the phone. He didn't sound drunk at all.

"Can I still talk to him?"

"Uh...I don't know. Maybe he'll be fine in the morning. See Ya." Alex shut the door.

Mitch was drooping down the steps and wondering who Scott was talking to. Scott was only... Oh no! Mitch forgot about his phone.
He started running near the storm drain where he dropped it. Gone. Had it fallen in the drain? No, no ,no , please no. Now he can't call Kirstie to pick him up. Mitch quickly ran back to Kirstie's apartment, exhausted. He knocked on the door out of breath. There was no answer. Of she course she must've been asleep.
He twisted the door knob hoping it was opened. To his surprise it was. He saw that the lights were on. Kirstie wasn't the one standing there, but it was Travis.

"What are you doing here! How did you know I would be here?" Mitch asked in a whisper. Travis didn't do anything except for walking slowly towards the door to Kirstie's bedroom.

"Why don't you look inside? It won't answer your question but it will answer something else," Travis said creepily. Mitch walked cautiously inside the room. He saw Kirstie on the bed, bleeding on the forehead slightly.

"What did you do?!" Mitch yelled as loud as he could. He thought he would of woken up a few neighbors. Mitch immediately saw a staff on the side of the bed.

"Mitch, don't you get it? Oh that's right! You don't remember anything since that incident at the park. That's because there was a man who kno-"

"I know what happened. But why is Kirstie like this?"

"Well, you didn't take it as well as she did. Most likely, she will wake up with a bruise, but she will remember everything. You, Mitch, we're not as lucky as her."

"Shut up. You did this to me didn't you."

Travis chuckled. "Well aren't you the smart one here. Even if you don't remember much."
