Acquiring A Devil Fruit! (Chapter 13)

AUTHOR NOTE: 

 I am sure many would be curious why I chose this devil fruit and that is because it suits his fighting style and I can't really find anything really that have the same fire power maybe even more than the Mera Mera No Mi. It also has to do with Izuku wanting freedom  also shout out to the one who proposed the idea Fire_Fist_Sabo he is the one who gave me the idea and I evaluated all others and to honest most of them were good but they were to OP and most of them I have plans to leave them with there original owner.

Izuku is currently sitting in his bed cuddling with Robin as they talked about there usual stuff, Izuku has been really contemplating hard if he should eat a devil fruit but he would risk having the weakness of the sea something he preferred to avoid but with technology around and those anti-sea drugs created by there scientist he had nothing to worry about as he got first hand experience when he saw Robin, Ace and Luffy playing in the ocean with him and never drowned, Garp even suggested that he would eat a devil fruit he didn't doubt Izuku abilities to fight only using Haki as he was the prime example of it but it won't hurt to have some sort of edge in battle and didn't want Izuku to feel that he is the only one out of his siblings to not have a devil fruit so Izuku had agreed and even talked it out with everyone who told him that it was his choice to make at the end and that is why he had made the call and the devil fruit should be delivered to there house.  

The devil fruit he chose was The Tori Tori No Mi, Model: Phoenix just like the name implies he could transform to a phoenix giving him regeneration abilities and fire power and could suit his fighting style. The door rang as Izuku stood up and walked towards the door to find a the box and the one who delivered it was gone he sigh as he took the box inside and sat in the sofa with everyone joining in. 

Ace: So...It came!

Luffy: I wonder what Devil Fruit you chose to eat. 

Robin: Well I know it should be something that suits you well. 

Izuku nod as he opened the box inside it was a metal box as well he placed his finger on it and it opened as it recognized his fingerprint it opened leaving some smoke before a blue fruit just like the sky appeared it had a few golden parts and Ace eye was wide like a saucer. 

Ace: You chose the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix!

Izuku: Yep! what do you think?

Robin: It's really good actually your fighting style revolves around dragon claw although it is more of a phoenix it could be really helpful I think you chose extremely well. 

Luffy: I don't really know what it can do but I bet it's awesome!

Izuku (Smile): It sure is!

Izuku started to eat the devil fruit before he sticked his tongue out in disgust but he had to swallow it with Robin chuckling and giving him water as he drank it trying to get rid of the horrible taste. 

Izuku: I never knew that devil fruit taste sucks!

Luffy & Ace: Now you know how we felt when we ate ours.
