Part 26- Umbridge

The news spread that Harry Potter was in total and successfully got back into school. While this was happening Draco was helping me get my new powers under control. We started practicing 3 days ago and it was the last day before school started it was 11:55pm and I finally managed to get them fully under control as I fell on Draco's bed and fell asleep quickly while Draco was holding me tight.

After sitting on the train for 2 and a half hours we finally arrived I was greeted by two gingers I had never seen before they introduced themselves of the pranksters of the school Fred Weasley and George Weasley I shook both of they're hand as I needed to make friends with potters friends. I went back to Draco and he knew why so we just went to the great hall no arguing or nothing just love we sat down while Dumbledore introduced Umbridge and bla bla bla. The feast started as I got tapped on the shoulder by a 1st year Slytherin saying "letter for you miss Riddle" thank you sweetheart I replied as I opened it.

It was a letter from my mother what read

My dearest y/n,
I know this is a lot to ask but you need to stand up to Umbridge first by saying that your father is actually back, before joining her inquisitorial squad so you both can start fresh I'm so sorry to ask this but you also need to try and gain other peoples trust quickly and do NOT let your powers take over if someone irritates you

My fists clenched as Draco read the letter he ripped it up and burnt it with a spell, "Draco" I said to him "yes my love" "what if Nagini gets hurt it'll bear enough kill me wouldn't it?" I said shakily he looked at me as his face dropped in fear. I put my hand on his thigh under the table and whispered "let's make it fun then in case I do get hurt" he had a cheeky child on his face while his blonde hair fell infringe of him I kissed his cheek and carried on eating.

I got disturbed from eating as A lady in Pink held a high pitched squeak which caught everyone's attention she started with "Thank you, Headmaster, for those kind words of welcome and how lovely to see all your bright happy faces smiling up at me" not so likely I whispered to Draco which he chuckled at "I'm sure we are all going to be really good friends. The ministry of magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be a vital importance, although each headmaster has brought something good to this school, progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged" I think I fell asleep at this point because she was blabbering on until Draco nudged me and took me out the great hall we was in for an eventful year.
