 Anna's POV

I was extremely busy making fun of dev when I got a call 

"Mia😎"

Answer  Decline

Mia?" I said, it was like 1 am

"wait, you don't sound like my boyfriend" she said slurring, was she seriously drunk right now?

"are you drunk?" i asked as dev looked at me confused

"whhat, i don't drink umm.." she paused and it went silent

"anna banana" she said laughing 

"mia, where are you?" I asked, i don't remember her leaving, this whole time I thought she was in her room 

"first of all, this is not 20 questions so please calm yourself with the questions, and second of all my mother told me not to talk to strangers so i'm afraid i can't tell you that" I put her on speaker so dev could hear

I muted her 

"Should I call chase?" I asked dev

"I mean, probably but do you think he's there with him" she said as she put her phone down

"I doubt it" I said honestly 

I unmuted her and went on to text chase.

"Mia, please don't make me call chase" I said, I heard her take a sip of something, I hate chase with all my guts but it's the only thing that will make Mia tell me where she is, maybe.

"i know you don't like him but chill with the sass please" she said with attitude 

"i don't not like him" I said lying, I hate chase so much.

"look, anna banana i can tell when your lying so please cut the bullshit, please and thank you" I heard her gulp something down and I heard a echoed knock

"well anna banana, the party is calling me so i must answer, see you later, bye" and with that she hung up

"Oh whatever, she'll be fine" I mumbled under my breath as I put my phone down and continued to play fortnite with dev.

When I first met Mia I fell in love with her, I didn't have the guts to tell her so I let my feelings eat me alive and I eventually got over her. Then chase came along, I don't even see what she sees in him, they fight all the time. It gets annoying and it's not even her fault.

I was laying in bed thinking 

Before chase we would flirt a lot, I never took it too seriously considering she barely showed interest in me but we were still best friends.

I got a text from Zach showing Bryce beating chase's ass.

I felt bad but I couldn't help but laugh, i looked in the background and zoomed in to see Mia with a tear stained face and a bottle of alcohol in her hand.

I knew it was hard for her to see her brother and boyfriend fight, but it looked like she didn't care at all, like she was numb to it all.

I needed to see if she was okay, I clicked on her contact and tried to call her but it went to voicemail.
