There was a yellow sleeping bag on the floor. 'He looks like a caterpillar in a cocoon' you let out an a small laugh that couldn't be heard. As everyone went by, I payed attention to everyone's quirk as that would benefit me if we fought. "Y/N L/N" "Come up" 'how in the world am I supposed to tell everyone that I'm mute!?!?' I stood up and walked to the front of the class, my face filled with slight panic. I looked to Aizawa and signed out 'Sir I cannot speak' he looked at me with a very confused look.
'I need a chalk to write on the board' I look around and spot a piece of chalk and write out 'Hi my name is Y/N L/N and I can't speak' I wrote out with clean and neat writing. Before Aizawa Sensai could give a reaction I wrote out 'does anyone know sign language?'. I looked around and everyone shaking there heads no except for one particular boy, Shoto Todoroki.
He raised his hand and my eyes widened with a smile also forming. Then I signed out way to fast for Todoroki to even make out what I signed. 'Y/N I didn't understand anything, it was to fast' he signed out. I blushed very slightly from embarrassment and signed out a sorry. 'Can you tell Mr. Aizawa to explain my quirk, it will be easier than writing it' he nodded and spoke out to Aizawa Sensai.
"Sir Y/N wants you to explain her quirk" "She said it would be easier than writing" I gave Todoroki a thumbs up while Aizawa Sensai was looking through his papers. He then picked out one paper and started talking "Y/N's quirk is called illusions. She can create things that look and feel real but are really not. Aizawa stopped because I was signing something out to Todoroki. Todoroki spoke out "For example, she can make an illusion with fire, if she sets you on fire it can feel and look like your burning even if your really not.
With that sentence everyone's eyes widened and looked to me. I let out a inaudible laugh and singed out 'I didn't think I was that scary" Todoroki stated the same thing and they all laughed except for a guy named Bakugou. "Thank you Todoroki for translating and Y/N I'm gonna have to learn sign language now" 'I can teach you' I signed while smiling. Aizawa looked at Todoroki, he stated the same thing I said and Aizawa nodded. I sat back on my chair next to Todoroki. 'Thank you so much Todoroki! I didn't think anyone would know sign language' I signed with a really big smile stuck on my face. "No problem Y/N" Aizawa broke our conversation with his stern voice
