Chapter 10

We started working at 4:00 and it was already 5:00. At this time I was exhausted. "Y/N, it's circumference over diameter." He told me. I face planted into the bed as I understood only some of it. 30 more minutes later and all the last piece of homework was done. I shoved it all in my bag as I walked over to Shoto and hugged him. He flinched because it was so sudden. "Y/N what's wrong?" He asked. 'If it weren't for you I wouldn't have understood all this homework' I signed breaking the hug. "No problem, it really isn't that hard." 'I smell food! I think mom made something' I signed to him. We both walked downstairs to the kitchen.

"Y/N, Todoroki!" "Just on time! I made sushi" my mom said when she saw us. 'Hey mom, if you don't mind can we watch upstairs? I was planning on watching a movie!!' I signed to my mom hoping she'll say yes. "Yeah! That's no problem, just don't make any mess okay?" "Okay mom!" I signed to her super happy with her response. Shoto and I both grabbed a plate with sushi with rice. "Would you like anything else Shoto?" I signed to him. "No I'm all good." I nodded as we both walked back into my room.

We both sat on the bed close to each other eating our food. I picked up the remote and turned on Netflix. 'What would you like to watch?' I signed to him. "Hmmm, horror." He told me. 'Yes! I love horror!!' We ended up picking a movie called 'The Conjuring'. After 30 minutes we were done our food and close together wrapped in a blanket. I don't think he seemed to mind that I was close to him. But then, there was a jump scare on the screen. I yelped and jumped closer to Shoto, but when I screamed no sound came out of my mouth. Shoto then wrapped his arm around me and rested his head on my shoulder. I laughed with no sound at his action.

The movie ended after an hour. Honestly it was a pretty scary movie. Shoto was still resting his head on my shoulder. He was asleep, I could hear his tiny snores. I looked at the time and it was 6:48. 'I'm so glad it's not that late, is he sleeping?! Omg if I move he might wake up! Y/N. Do. Not. Move. After that I felt myself drifting away into sleep. I couldn't explain how cozy it was.

I woke up and looked at the time it was 7:33. Time just flew. At this point I had to wake up Shoto, he has to go home his family might be worried. I turned and shook him slightly. He didn't budge. I shook him again with more effort. He opened his eyes and rubbed them. I didn't sign anything to him because he looked so tired. "What time is it?" His voice still a sleepy and deep which caused butterflies in my stomach. I grabbed my phone which was on my dresser and showed him the time. It read 7:37.

"I should get going Y/N. My old man is not gonna like this" he told me fully awake. 'I am walking you home.' I signed to him. "You don't have to, I can walk home myself. It's fine." He told me. 'I wasn't asking if I could walk you home, I'm telling you that I'm walking you home.' I signed to him while crossing my arms. He sighed in defeat. "Alright then, we go now?" I nodded my head vigorously. I took the plates and left the room.

When we were downstairs my mom was on the couch watching some show. I put the plates in the sink and told my mom that I'd be dropping off Shoto. I walked over to the front door and I face palmed because I forgot something. I ran all the way back to my room and picked up Shoto's nicely folded uniform. I ran back downstairs and left out front door.

We both walked in silence as the wind ruffled both our hair. It was so nice out, despite it being cold. 'Honestly Shoto, I really enjoyed the small movie night! You need to come over more' I signed to him. "It really was fun, even if I slept through half of the movie- it was great!" We were waking in silence again until my eyes caught a rock shaped like a heart

I picked it up and realized how perfectly shaped it was. I got an idea and handed it to Shoto. "What's this for?" He asked me. 'For all the homework you helped me with and because it looks like a heart' I signed to him blushing but it couldn't be seen because it was dark out. "How many times do I have to tell you? It's wasn't a big deal Y/N. If you ever need help just ask" he told me. 'I'm so thankful to have you in my life Shoto!' I signed and twirled around while walking. He smiled like how I drew him in the sketch. "Same here Y/N".

He pointed to his house and it was so big. I stared at how beautiful it looked. It was so Japanese style. "Amused?" He asked me. I nodded and stoped staring at his giant house. We both walked to his front door. "I'll return the sweater tomorrow..." he told me. I smiled and signed 'keep it'.
