'If Shoto wins his match, I have to fight him...HES GONNA WIN FOR SURE!' I thought. I fixed my attention back to the arena. When Sero and Shoto walked in I stood up from my seat and sprayed confetti illusion over Shoto. He immediately knew who it was and he looked at me with a 'really man' look. I laughed so hard at his expression, I full on died. "IS THAT CONFETTI?!?" Present Mic questioned loudly. Shoto pointed toward me and rolled his eyes. Everyone's eyes went on me.

I gave them all a peace sign and stuck out my tongue and sat back down trying to hold in my laugh. "Y/N gets you good nah?" I heard Sero ask Shoto. Shoto kept his dead glare toward him. 'He's so soft toward me and so cold to others...' I thought with a smile on my face "LETS BEGIIIN! READY? SET? GOOOOOOOO!"

Sero immediately shot a long piece of tape toward Shoto. He wrapped the tape around his body and spun him around in circles. I was confused because Shoto wasn't doing anything. 'What the heck- whats he doing?!? Does he have a plan?' Just as I thought that Shoto slammed his foot on the ground and made a massive ice ramp thing toward Sero. The ice monstrosity was so big that it reached the crowd, the sharp icicles almost stabbing into us. 'Dramatic much' I thought and moved back from the ice so it won't stab me.

"Sero can you move?" Midnight asked. "N- No" he responded to her freezing. "SHOTO TODOROKI WINS" She yelled after that. I felt the ice melt. I saw Shoto say something to Sero but I couldn't quite hear it. They walked outside of the arena and ran down to congratulate Shoto. I ran down to him and when I saw him I smiled and lifted my hand to do fist bump. He chuckled and bumped it.

'The ice was a bit over the top no?' I signed to him jokingly. He shrugged and said "The confetti was a bit over the top no?" I punched him lightly on the shoulder for teasing me all the time. 'Guess what! I'm going to be fighting you after the next match!' I signed to him with a bright smile and lots of excitement. "Don't hold back just because we're friends." He said to me. 'You really thought I was going to do that' I signed taking his words from when we were training. We both smiled and I took his hand to go to where the class was sitting. I sat next to Uraraka and Shoto was next to me.

She asked me to teach her some basic signs before the next match started which I gladly did. I taught her how to sign her name which she enjoyed a lot. "I'm going to learn more after the Sports Festival! Deku said he's going to do the same." She said to me. I smiled at her and gave her a thumbs up. "THE NEXT MATCH IS GONNA START!!!" Present Mic yelled. "Do you have to be so loud" Aizawa's dead annoyed voice said. The match was between Bakugou and Kirishima. That means~ if Bakugou won and if I win against Shoto, I have to face Bakugou.

I smirked to myself having confidence I would win. I remembered something my parents told me - 'being confident is great! but once your over confident, everything will mess up' I looked to the sky wondering if they're watching me right now. "Thinking about your parents?" Shoto said. I looked back to him 'do you also have a mind reading quirk or something?' I signed to him because he knew exactly what I was thinking about. "Hmmm maybe" he said back to me slyly. I rolled my eyes playfully and looked back to the match. I also remembered my moms birthday was coming up soon. I smiled at the thought of that.

(Bakugou and Kirishima battle which I am aware that is not this early in the sports festival just bare with me for the book 💀)

I was clapping loudly and stomping my foot on the ground as cheering for both of the boys but I was secretly hoping Bakugou would win so I got to face him if I won my match. In the end, Bakugou did win. I was clapping my hands loudly to get his attention but it didn't work- I turned and looked at Shoto and I smirked at him. 'I am going to end you. Bring your best shot!' I signed and brought up a hand to him with a smile. "May the best one win" he said and then shook my hand. "Good luck Y/N! Your going to do great!" Uraraka said. I got a few more encouragements and then I walked to a waiting room.
