Chapter 29

'I'm one of the villains....targets!?'

"Kacchan and Y/N should try to avoid contact and acting independently" the voice rang in my ears again. There wasn't much gas around so I made the masks vanish. Bakugou carelessly started running toward the villain infront of us while I stood there, not understanding why they wanted me. I couldn't move, nothing in my body was functioning at this moment, the only thing that rung in my head was 'it's one of the students names Kacchan and Y/N!"

My thoughts were broken with Shoto wrapping his arms around my neck and whispering something into my ear. "I'm not going to let them lay a finger on you. Don't worry Y/N" I looked up at him and nodded. I felt oddly at ease but that isn't going to let my guard down. The villain extended his sharp teeth toward Bakugou. Shoto made ice and protected him from getting stabbed. "Don't go rushing carelessly into things!" Shoto yelled at Bakugou. I quickly realized the teeth were made of metal and it was most likely his quirk.

His teeth were now stuck in the ice and he was saying something I could not understand. "Deku did something about this, I know that. I DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT WHAT ANYONE SAYS" Bakugou yelled. The villain made his teeth grow toward Bakugou who was not jumping his way. I made a rope illusion around his stomach and pulled him back to the ground. He pulled back his teeth and started moving inside the forest. "He's good at using the terrain with his quirk" Shoto said. I nodded at him. "Even though he looks like some scrawny small fry! AAAH STUPID LONG TEETH" Bakugou screamed

He appeared infront of us again and his teeth were jabbed into the ground. I engulfed both my hands with blue fire. "If you use any large flame around here and the fire spreads, we will be surrounded by flames and everyone will die" Shoto said to Bakugou and me. I nodded at him while Bakugou said "Shut up! I already know"

My whole body was practically shaking in fear but I ignored it and continued to act strong. I looked back into the forest and noticed the pink gas that was once there was now gone. I tapped Shoto's shoulder and pointed toward the forest. He looked toward me and gave a affirmative nod and we continued to fight the teeth guy. He blasted a whole bunch of metal toward us but Shoto made a ice wall to protect us. I couldn't get near the teeth guy and I needed to find a weakness. Shoto and Bakugou started yelling until I heard Midoriya's voice.

"Over there! I see ice!" I heard him yelling. Midoriya was on Shoji's back and I could see explosions behind them as they were rushing toward us. I got into a fighting stance just in case. "Bakugou! Y/N! Todoroki! One of you, please make some light!" Shoji yelled. Behind them was Dark Shadow. Though he looked much bigger in appearance and his eyes were red. He slammed the villain down and held him there. "HURRY UP AND MAKE LIGHT!! DARK SHADOW IS OUT OF CONTROL" Shoji yelled. Before I could make fire Bakugou stopped me. "Look!" He said. Dark shadow was slamming the villain into the trees and his teeth were all ripped out.

"I HAVENT HAD ENOUGH FUN YET!!" Dark shadow yelled. Shoto and I made a massive burst of fire, it was contained so it didn't touch any trees and it was very bright. Shoto and I did everything perfectly in sync and Tokoyami fell to the ground breathing heavy. My hand was still lit on fire and I looked at Tokoyami with concern. "Sorry, Shoji and Midoriya. I was too immature, I let my anger take over and released Dark Shadow" he spoke while his hands were shaking. I died my fire and walked toward him and bent down beside him. I put a hand on his back indicating comfort. 

"Oh yeah, we confirmed two of the villains targets are Kacchan and Y/N" Midoriya spoke. I tensed up when he said my name again. I got up from beside Tokoyami and listened to Midoriya. "Bakugou and Y/N? Are they trying to kill them? Why?" Tokoyami asked. "I'm not sure, anyway, I think the camp is the safest place, since there are two pro hero's Vlad King and Mr.Aizawa are there" He was speaking and I stood there listening as closely as I could. "I see, so our mission is to escort Bakugou and Y/N there huh?" Tokoyami said.
