The next day at school, I don't see him, but I figure he's just sick. The next day, he's gone too, and people have started to whisper. After 3 more days of this, it's finally the weekend, and I'm worried sick. If called him and texted him too many times to count, but he hasn't replied. Then, on Saturday, I get a call from his mom. "Hi Jimmy, I have some bad news," she says, and I can tell she's crying, "Dean... Is dead" she tells me, bursting into tears. I can't believe my ears. "H-how did he die?" I ask, but I honestly don't want to know the answer. "He was killed in a car crash, on Monday" she says, and I can tell she's barely holding herself together. "Ok, thank you for telling me. Goodbye" I say, knowing I will never be the same.
