It was the next day and Sonakshi was getting ready for the first day of her job in the Hospital. She thought that she would take public transport as she would buy her scooty once they got settled.
But last night when the four of them were having dinner in a restaurant, Dev offered to drop her to the Hospital. He had said that Zoya would also accompany them as the three of them had the same destination.
When she went to the dining table to have breakfast, Zoya was already sitting there and Asha was making her drink juice, eat fruits, sandwiches along with aloo puri.
She chuckled on seeing Zoya's face. It was evident from her facial expressions that she won't be able to eat anything more. She sat beside Zoya and served herself, pretending to ignore Zoya because she knew that she would ask her to help her.
Zoya pouted when Sonakshi didn't look at her and she completed her breakfast with great difficulty. As they both were standing at the gate of the colony, Zoya was panting heavily.
Sonakshi chuckled and Zoya looked at her. "Sona, you didn't even look at me for once! I wanted your help", complained Zoya. .
"My Soya Sauce, do you think that Maa would have listened to me?" asked Sonakshi by raising her eyebrows. "Lekin aaj humne itna kha liya hain ki humse kam se kam aaj toh kuchh khaya nahi jaayega", said Zoya. (But I have eaten so much that I won't be able to eat anything today.)
"That's not possible. As much as I know Dev, Ishwari Aunty would have given him responsibility to make sure that you complete your lunch. Being the Dev he is, he would simply listen to his mother", said Sonakshi and shrugged.
Zoya turned around to go back to her House while Sonakshi tried to stop her by holding her arms. Zoya still didn't want to go to the Office.
"Zoya, where are you going?" asked Sonakshi. "Sona, please let me go", pleaded Zoya. This time, she freed her hand from Sonakshi's and turned to go back.
But she collided with Aditya and her head hit his chest. He placed his hand on her waist to balance her while her hands were on his shoulder. He was looking at her with concern in his eyes.
"Are you okay?" asked Aditya. Zoya nodded and they both drifted apart. "Where were you going?" asked Aditya. "Dev se chhupne", replied Sonakshi and Zoya glared at her. (To hide from Dev.)
Aditya got confused and asked, "Why?" "Nothing, she was just kidding", replied Zoya. Aditya nodded and asked, "Shall we go?" "But where is Dev?" asked Sonakshi.
"Sona, you would have to go with Dev as I am taking Zoya along with me for an event", said Aditya and Sonakshi nodded. "What kind of event?" asked Zoya. "Just an engagement ceremony! It's in the evening so I am thinking to take you along with me. You will learn many new things", said Aditya and Zoya nodded obediently.
