When Aditya saw Zoya lying in the pool of blood, his heartbeats had increased the pace and his breathing came to a halt. He cannot even think of imagining his life with her.
He was sitting on the chair, shaking his legs as he was tensed. The doctor came out and the three rushed to them. "She is out of danger. We will shift her to the private ward and then you can meet her", said the doctor.
They all sighed in relief and then the doctor said, "Dr. Bose, I need to talk to you about her health updates." Sonakshi nodded and went with the doctor.
Aditya left the breath that he had been holding since hours and sat on the chair. Dev sat beside him and said, "Thank God she is fine."
Aditya nodded and questioned, "But who did this to her?" Dev too went in deep thinking. Aditya again got a call, but this time, it was from Anjana.
"Maa, she is okay", said Aditya as soon as the call connected. "No Maa, we three are there for her. If I'll need any help then I'll call you", said Aditya when Anjana insisted to come to the hospital.
He disconnected the call and then the nurse informed them to meet Zoya. Dev signed Aditya to meet her first. Aditya nodded and entered her ward.
He saw Zoya laying on the bed with her eyes open, looking at the ceiling. He sat on the stool beside her bed and she looked at him.
She passed a smile to him while he controlled his tears. "Why did you do this?" asked Aditya. Zoya got confused and asked, "What did I do?"
"This", said Aditya while pointing at her wrist. Zoya looked at it and frowned in confusion. "Aditya, I swear I don't know this. I cannot even think of committing suicide. I don't have that much guts", said Zoya.
"Then how did this happen?" asked Aditya. "I don't remember anything. Moreover, my entire body feels numb right now",confessed Zoya.
"It's okay. It must be because of the sedatives. Don't stress. Take rest. We will talk later",saying this, he caressed her hair and dropped a kiss on her forehead before leaving from there.

Dev and Aditya were sitting in Zoya's ward and she was sleeping. Sonakshi entered the ward along with a doctor. He left soon after instructing Sonakshi.
"Guys, I have to tell you something. Dev, can you go and get these medicines?" asked Sonakshi and Dev nodded before leaving from there.
"Adi, whatever I am going to tell may not be pleasing. But you will have to be strong", said Sonakshi. "Sona, you are scaring me. What's wrong?" asked Aditya.
"The doctors did her tests and found that she has been raped", said Sonakshi. Aditya got shocked and he could hardly utter, "What!" She nodded in a yes and said, "I know she might not remembering any of this as we have also found a drug in her body. It seems like she was injected. She might feel numb for the next twenty four hours."
