Dev and Sonakshi were having dinner, talking about everything and anything. They were best friends so it wasn't that difficult for them to share everything with each other.
"My Baba had decided that he didn't want any son. He had said that my Sona would be there for me. My elder cousin still tells me that at that time, Dadu's reaction was worth seeing. His face had lost all the colours. I know I shouldn't laugh like this but he never really talked to me, neither did allow me to go near him, so I guess that's okay", said Sonakshi.
"You are lucky. I don't even remember much about my Father", said Dev, a little sadly. Sonakshi placed her hand on his and said, "Dev, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you."
"Why are you sorry?" asked Dev. "I didn't mean to hurt you", said Sonakshi, feeling guilty. "Sona, if I remember my Father, then will you stop talking about your Baba?" asked Dev.
"Sona, I know what place he holds in your life and heart. There is no need to stop talking about him, just because I feel bad. I won't ever feel bad. Never stop speaking just because I might feel bad. I love listening to you", said Dev with a smile.
"Why are you this understanding? This is so cute! A person can't even stay mad at you", said Sonakshi. "Tumhe pyaar aata hain na mujhpe?" asked Dev with a teasing smile.
(You find me lovable, don't you?)"Shut up", replied Sonakshi as she blushed and hit him on his hand. "What? Isn't it the truth?" asked Dev amusedly. She poked out her tongue at him and continued eating.
Dev chuckled and then forwarded his hand to her. She looked at him questioningly and raised her eyebrows, indicating what he was asking.
"May I have the pleasure of dancing with you?" asked Dev. Sonakshi nodded, impressed by him and kept her hand in hers.
They both got up and Dev kept his hands on her waist while her hands were wrapped around his neck. They started moving slowly as the slow music played.
They were lost in each other's eyes. Dev leaned and softly kissed her forehead. She closed her eyes to soak in the moment and placed her head on his chest as they both continued swaying.

Aditya and Zoya were strolling in a park. Zoya was happily looking at the children playing while Aditya was looking at her. "You love children, don't you?" asked Aditya.
"Yes. They are so innocent and pure. But sometimes their childhood is tainted and we don't have any idea about it. You cannot even say that whose childhood might have been ruined", said Zoya as she got lost while thinking something.
Aditya nudged her and she came back to her senses. She looked at him and gave him a convincing smile. He smiled back and held her hand.
