'i'll make every last moment last as long as you're mine.'

"And that's a wrap on 'Julie and the Phantoms' Season Two." Kenny announced, making everyone clap and cheer. I smiled as everyone yelled for the boys and Madi to say a speech.
They all lined up as Madi went first, making everyone burst into tears. Once Jeremy and Charlie had finished their speeches, Owen cleared his throat, stepping forward.
"Um, I just want to say that it is such an honor to work with all of you guys. You're really an amazing group of people. Without you guys, this show probably wouldn't have made it. Thank you to everyone has helped me over the past year, it really means a lot. I have been dealing with a lot of anxiety this past year and this season has broke me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. I love you guys." He smiled, looking at everyone.
Kenny looked over at, "Your turn." He smiled.
"Yeah, A! Speech! Speech! Speech!" Charlie started. Everyone chimed in, making me shake my head and laugh.
I walked to the middle of the group, looking around awkwardly, trying to figure out what to say. I took a deep breath, putting my hands in my back pockets.
"Before I got the role as Young Rose, I had never worked on any big projects like this and even though I was only in a few episodes, I feel like this was my big break. I have enjoyed working with you all and making so many memories with you guys. Um, I don't think I've told anyone on set about this, but a few weeks before I auditioned, my Mom passed away.."
I cleared my throat. "And uh, it really messed me up. I wouldn't come out of my room, wouldn't eat, wouldn't talk to anyone. My sister literally dragged me out of bed to make me go to my audition." I laughed, fanning my face as tears brimmed my eyes. "Sorry.. You guys just mean so much to me. Without this show, I probably wouldn't be here right now. It really saved me.. Thank you all." I wiped my eyes, finishing my speech.
"Group hug!" Madi yelled running up to me. Everyone laughed, moving in closer for the hug. Once we had all pulled away, the set fell silent, no one wanting to leave.
"Let's just hope for a season three." Kenny said, smiling. "I'm proud of you all. You're all extremely talented."
Once we had (sadly) said our goodbyes, Owen and I left the set, getting the car. He sighed, "I didn't know you were going through all of that. I'm sorry."
"It's okay. I didn't tell anyone." I assured him, smiling sadly. He nodded without another word, starting to drive.
"Hey, A?" He asked, glancing over at me.
"Yeah?" I smiled.
"What are we going to do when I have to go back home?" He said, quietly, almost afraid to talk about it.
"Nothing's going to change, Owen. We can still text, call, facetime.. we can visit each other whenever we want." I told him. He pulled into the parking deck with a sigh.
"Yeah, but most long distance relationships don't work.. I don't want to lose you.." He admitted, looking over at me.
"You're not going to lose me. Don't worry yourself about this right now. Let's just focus on us in this moment. For now, you're my only care in the world." I grabbed his hand, smiling.
He laughed softly, kissing the back of my hand. "You wanna know something?"
I raised my eyebrow, "Uh oh, what is it?"
"I knew we we're going to be friends when I first saw you at your callback." He told me.
"Oh really?" I smirked, looking up at him.
"Oh yeah. I wasn't going to leave that place until I talked to you. You know, when I invited you to go eat with us, Charlie and Kenny bailed, so Jeremy and I went together. He could have been the third wheel." Owen joked.
I laughed, shaking my head. I paused a moment, admiring him. The way he smiled, the way his eyes crinkled when he laughed...he was truly perfect.
"I love you." I said quietly, not thinking.
"What?" Owen stopped dead in his tracks.
"Oh, uh..." My eyes widened as I looked for a cover up. "Uh, nothing. It was nothing."
"You love me?" Owen whispered. I bit my lip nervously, and nodded, not wanting to look at him.
"I love you too." He stared at me, his voice cracking.
When I looked at him, I saw tears in his eyes. "Awe, babe." I pulled him into a hug, running my hands through his hair.
"I'm sorry. It's just that, I've never felt like this about anyone before and I'm just so happy that I get to be with you. You make me feel so special." He spoke quietly, tears running down his cheeks.
"You deserve to feel special." I told him.
"Stop, you're going to make some start crying again." Owen laughed, pulling away from the hug to wipe his eyes.
I smiled, joining in his laughter. "I'm so glad I met you." I spoke quietly, hoping to stay in this moment for the rest of my life.
