You Were A Mistake

211 20 7

Thought you were different,
But you turned out to be bitter and ignorant.
You think you're the one everyone looks upon,
Truth is you're simply just a moron.
Didn't know you were so full of ego and pride
I knew I was trying to swim against the tide
Thought I could swim, thought I could survive until you came around
And me, you went on to drown
You keep doing what you do best
Making others feel useless and suppressed
Nothing but hatred is what you'll gain
And that's when you'll understand our pain.
Ashamed of myself now I feel
How of all the people to me you could appeal
Now that I know about your true side
I cant even remember what about you I liked.
Someday someones gonna love me right
who will turn this frown you created upside
who like you isn't shallow and vague
who will mend this heart you went on to break.
