Smile

The sun rises,

People come to life,

But everywhere I look,

It's all black and white,

"Smile" they say,

It's going to be alright,

"Smile" they say,

For the world's alive,

I may be trying,

And yes I'm crying,

'Cause things don't seem right,

In front of me lies my relief,

The only thing that can save me from my grief,

I slash the blade on my arm,

And watch the scars one by one,

As I cut, the blood comes out,

"Now I'll smile" I whisper out loud,

As the burning pain comes over me,

I lay back in blissful agony,

Hoping that one day,

I'll be somewhere far, far away.
