Hollypaw was hunting along the border of ShadowClan, frequently checking to see if she hadn't accidently passed the scent-marker. But as she buried a water-vole, a brown-and-white body tumbled onto her, knocking her over. "Who are you?!" She growled as them.
The apprentice who tumbled onto her lifted his gaze, revealing himself. "Sorry, thought you were on my territory. Anyways, it's Owlpaw." He said, eyes sparkling.
Something softer about him was beneath though. Hollypaw flicked it off of her mind though. "I-I-I should get going."
"Should we maybe, meet here tomorrow night?" He asked from behind as she began walking off.
Hollypaw thought for a second. I've already broken the code once, so what harm could it be breaking it this time? "Sure." She replied, finally stalking off.
Once at camp, she set down a few water voles and a shrew. "Good catches!" Said Minnowpaw as she was walking to the pile. Hollypaw nodded happily, picking out a fairly large fish. But as Hollypaw went out again, she noticed a tail of calico fur in the bushes.
Creeping closer, Hollypaw leant into the bush, only to find herself tumbling down a deep hole and into a cave. "Hello?!" She screamed, a hint of fright in her voice.
"Hello," Said a voice. It came from a left corner. The figure came out, looking to be a male calico cat with pale amber eyes. "What are you doing here?" He asked softly.
"Well first of all, who are you!" Hollypaw snarled at him.
He soon straightened up, curling his tail around his paws comfortably, "Sol. Let me guess, your a clan cat?" Hollypaw stood there, shook of how Sol could've known. "I used to belong to a clan, but I was exiled. Anyways, a great darkness is ahead of us," He said smoothly.
"W-W-What? No there isn't!" Hollypaw retorted, faith that nothing more than a claw-moon would happen.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that," He said, soon climbing up the den-hole. Hollypaw raced after, having him seemingly speed up as she got closer. But once there, Hollypaw only tumbled back up, Sol nowhere to be found.
