You could only think of her face. Your mothers face. Her beautiful grey eyes. Her soft sincere voice. Her soft motherly touch.
Her touch which you were reminded of when Aizawa hugged you. The house itself seemed familiar. The whole place did. As you'd been there or even lived there.
You did recognize that place. You lived there so many years ago. Back before you even got your quirk.
Times were simpler then. The world of quirks was relatively new. Back then it was quiet. Peaceful.
During the summer your family would visit the states in the country side. Plains as far as the eye could see. Hills everywhere. They had a house. There was only a single tree in sight. The tree had been on a hill. Your house was at the foot of the hill. It had a swing from when you were younger.
It was a big house. Enough to fit almost 14 people. Houses back then were cheap. Cheaper than they are now. It was 2 floors and a beautiful baby blue color. It had a few window and a nice porch.
You had faint memories of the summers you'd spent there. The grass was long and when the breeze hit the grass swayed. A few flower patches here and there.
You could faintly remember seeing your older siblings playing tag as you sat on the swing admiring everything in sight. You could hear your mom laughing with your dad. The sound of your younger sibling laughing along with them.
You used to visit ever summer but over time you stopped. You forgot about it. You wonder how it was now. It was probably barely standing. Maybe all broken and worn down. There were probably a lot more trees now.
One day you'd go back. One day you'd go back and fix it. Maybe when summer break came around you'd go back and fix it. Maybe you'd bring 1-A.
Maybe instead you'd fix it and surprise them with it as a vacation spot whenever they needed it.
You'd take back what you lost. That would be the next step in taking back what you lost to Immortality.
Just one day.
When you arrived at UA they were a swarm of reporters waiting. They were like vultures waiting. They kept yelling which got one your nerves. You pushed your way through.
"Hey wait a minute!" One of the reporters yelled.
"Your supposed to be dead!" Another yelled. They all took notice.
"no really? I didn't notice." You muttered under your breath.
"Hey yeah your supposed to be dead! Get the camera!" Someone else yelled. You made it through the gates before they could start recording.
You walked all the way to Nezu's office. You didn't even bother knocking. You just barged in.
"How did they get a hold of the information that I was dead? And why did you let them say I was?" you questioned.
"Because then when they find out you are alive it'll make them look like fools." he said.
"You know what I can live with that." you replied.
"Y/n theres a question I've been meaning to ask." he spoke.
"yeah?"
"What are you going to do when they die?
—
"Y/n!"
You turned around and found Denki and Mina running at you. They leaped at you causing you to fall to the ground.
"You guys missed me that much?" You asked. You could see tears brimming their eyes.
"Don't do that!" Mina yelled.
