12| I'm afraid of the actual truth pt.1

"Don't let go. Hold on tight." You made your way through the crowd.

"We're almost there. Just a little longer."

"Y/n! Help!" You turned around and felt his hand slowly letting go.

"Hold on! I'm going!" you yelled as his hand slipped from your grasp. You reached for it again only missing by centimeters. You pushed your way as you saw him slowly fall victim to the crowded street of japan.

"MOVE!" you yelled loudly as you pushed the man who kept getting in your way. You could barely see him.

'Please. Let me make it.' You thought. Fear creeping up your spine as you started to see less and less of the boy.

'Please. I'll change. Let me make it to him. I'm sorry. Im sorry.  I'll let people into my life. I'll change my whole point of view. Let me save him. I want to save him. I'm the only one who can. Please. I'll do something good. Just let me save him.'

You had pleaded in your mind. To who, you weren't sure. Maybe it was yourself or the gods. Maybe God himself, maybe even the devil. Maybe an alien who was able to listen to your thoughts. Maybe to someone who was a higher being. Maybe to someone who had been listening. Maybe someone who had the power to grant your pleas.
Maybe that someone was you.

"Y/n!" you heard him yell but you could no longer see him. Panic flowing through every sentimeter in your body.  You pushed your way through the crowd in hopes of seeing him.
But when they crowd finally dispersed you no longer saw the young boy.

"No, no. Where are you?" You called out.

"Tenko come on. Where are you?" you yelled. You started running around looking for the boy.

"I'm so sorry tenko. I'm so sorry. I could've saved you." You whispered as you crouched down behind a dumpster after weeks of searching for the boy.

"Tenko come on!" you yelled happily. The little boy smiled as he stumbled climbing up the hill.

"I'm going y/n!" he yelled. He grabbed your hand as it reached out to him. He laughed as he grasped it. You didn't disappear from his sight.

The sound of Tenko laughing rang in your ears. It was the only time you had heard him laugh like that.

"Tenko!" you yelled as the boy almost fell down the hill almost dragging you with him. He laughed so hard tears had been forming in his eyes. His laughter was so full of happiness.

"Thank you y/n! Thank you" Tenko yelled, causing you to smile at him.

"I told you. Didn't I, Tenko?" you asked. The young boy nodded vigorously.

"You did! You did! I'm so happy you did because now I'm happy!" He exclaimed with a smile so wide.

You woke up. Sweat falling from your forehead. When you looked to your side You found Bakugou at your side with his eyes wide. He must've woken you up. 

You didn't care that he did but you remember your conversation with Nezu from earlier.

"y/n?" Bakugou questioned. You quickly reached for your phone. You checked the time.

5:30 a.m

When you checked your messages you found that Nezu had messaged you and so did Tsukauchi.

they'll be arriving in 10 minutes.
sent two minutes ago.

I have everything sorted. you'll be seeing him either today or tomorrow most likely today but we'll be there soon to arrest you.
