Wren vs Winter

Chapter 10

Sky POV 

Wren stopped talking and clung to Sky's back spines.

"Hello, Peril! Nice to see you again." The Queen greeted Sky's new sister.

"PERIL!" A small dragonet came bounding around the queen. "HELLO! GUESS WHAT? I MADE UP A NEW SONG FOR YOU!!" ADORABLE LITTLE DRAGONET ALERT! (I will not be held responsible if you die of cuteness at the mere mention of him. :P)

Peril grinned at him, "Hello Your Majesty. Is it okay if I listen to your song later, Cliff?"

Cliff nodded happily and Sky wanted to cuddle him. Peril stepped back so she could see Queen Ruby and Cliff at the same time. "Your Majesty, this is my brother, Sky."

The Queen raised an eyeridge, and Sky waved at her. "Sky of the SkyWings. How particular. Welcome to the tribe Sky." She smiled at Sky, "Great Moons, Peril's family does seem to have a habit of turning up alive when they were supposedly dead!"

Sky nodded and grinned despite his confusion, "Hello Your Majesty! Cliff is adorable!"

Wren leaned forward and whispered in his ear, "He would look even cuter in a little hat."

Sky held in some laughter. Queen Ruby frowns at Wren. "May I ask where you got your scavenger?"

"Hello Your Majesty, I am Wren, and Sky and I grew up together," Wren said.

Queen Ruby raised both eyeridges, and Cliff bubbled, "TALKING SCAVENGER!"

"We shouldn't be eating scavengers if they are smart enough to talk to us! I will pass on a message to all the Queens." Queen Ruby took action. "Crimson! Please take a couple of others and take the message to the other queens. You may need to go ask an IceWing student for help." Crimson bows and takes off.

"While we are waiting for a reply, I can tell that Sky would love to go hang out with Cliff, and I would like to know a bit more about you, Wren."

Wren blinked at the sudden speed of change but slid off Sky as he waved to her and trotted off with Cliff and Peril.

"You make me super warm, you save us from bad guys. You are my and mummy's friend, we fly together in the skies!" I've used a song my friend made up. To be honest, I just want to finish this story. If anyone ever comments a better song, I'll add it in. 

Sky clapped enthusiastically. "That was the best!"

Cliff bowed and said, "I'm going to be the world's number one singer one day."

"Can I be your best friend then?" Sky asked and Cliff nodded enthusiastically.

"I'm gonna make a song about you!!!"
