Izuku woke up as he felt a tug on his shirt. He sat up and rubbed his eyes to get rid of his blurry view.
When his vision finally set, he noticed two fluffy bunny ears. Following down them, he seen none other than Rumi.
"Look who's finally awake. About damn time." Rumi said as she stood up and took a seat in the chair next to the bed.
Izuku stretched his body getting refreshing pops in his back.
"If I remember correctly, weren't you the one that wanted me to get sleep?" He said giving her a smug look.
"Yes, but I didn't expect you to sleep through most of the morning." Rumi said pointing at the clock on the nightstand.
Izuku stared at it and processed how long he slept. Usually he would have woken up relatively early, but guessing by the lack of sleep, he slept a lot longer then intended.
Izuku then flopped back on the bed.
"Damnit, I slept to long." Izuku groaned.
"What? I'd there something you needed to do?" Rumi asked standing from her seat and stood over the bed.
Izuku sat up and looked at her. He then let out a sigh.
"Yeah, usually I wake up a lot more early then this to train. But I somehow slept through my wake up habit." Izuku said finally standing up. He head was getting light headed as he stood up to fast.
He was about to stumble over, but Rumi thankfully caught him.
"Well that training ain't going anywhere. Come on, let's get some food in you then we can get to training." Rumi said pulling him to his feet.
Izuku, gaining his balance, looked up at her.
"We?" He said a bit confused.
"Yep, we. As in both if of us. Now, hurry up before I just leave you here." Rumi said walking towards the door.
Izuku just let out a sigh and followed behind her. As the exited the door, a voice called out to Rumi.
"Rumi! Oh, I didn't know you had company." A woman called out.
Looking over, it was the pro hero Ryukyu. She walked up to the two and stopped in front of them.
"Ryuko? What are you doing here?" Rumi spoke in confusion of why she was there.
"Oh, I just wanted to stop by since I was around. I didn't know you had company." She said pointing over to Izuku.
"I didn't expect to see you here Midoriya." She said with a soft smile.
"Well, I didn't expect to be here either. I was kinda forced by Rumi here." Izuku said pointing back at said person.
"Wait, you two already know each other?" Rumi asked a bit confused.
The two of them both nodded.
"Yeah, back in my first year of UA when we did the Yakuza raid, we met up there." Izuku said getting a nod from Ryuko.
"Yep, during that time, Ururaka would talk so much about you. It was adorable." Ryuko said.
Izuku tensed up after that, hoping it went unnoticed. However, our special bunny took notice of it.
"Ah, well we gotta get going. I told him we'd get something to eat and get back to training." Rumi said hopefully moving the conversation away.
"Training? I didn't know you trained now." Ryuko said a bit confused on Rumi's change.
Rumi was a hero that didn't like the idea of teaming up. She thought it proves you to be weak to count on others. So when she had said she was training with Izuku, Ryuko would have been confused.
"Yep. I won't go into much detail of how it happened, but this one right here is training under me from now on!" She said slapping Izuku on the back.
"What!? When did that happen?" Izuku asked confused of why she wanted him to train under her now.
"Did you forget what happened?" She said looking at him losing the smirk on her face.
Again, she worried about him. She may not know him on a personal level, but what she knows about him so far, he needed the help. As much as he probably won't want it, she will most definitely not give up.
Izuku looked at her and just let out a sigh.
Rumi then looked back at Ryuko.
"Well, we better be off. Thanks for stopping by, and sorry you didn't stay long." Rumi said as she waved Ryuko off.
"It's quite alright, I was only stopping by. Well, I hope you have a good breakfast. And Rumi..." Ryuko said getting her attention.
"Don't go over board with him." She gave her a smirk.
Rumi gained a slight blush as she ignored her comment.
"So, where are we going to eat?" Izuku asked as they walked down the steps.
"There's a restaurant right down the street from here. We're going there cause it's close by." Rumi said as they were about to leave.
"Wait." Izuku said getting her attention.
"Shouldn't I go get dressed? I'm kinda still in my training clothes." He said pointing to himself.
She looked down at what he was wearing and it was indeed what he was wearing.
"You should be fine. Plus, we're going to be training when we get back anyways." Rumi said opening the door walking out of her agency.
They walked down the street to head to the restaurant. But, hero work is still hero work.
They had a few robberies and muggers. But the entire time, Rumi didn't allow Izuku to do anything. As said before, Rumi does not like hero teams. She sees it as weak to get help from others. And she didn't plan on changing that anytime soon.
As much as Izuku wanted to jump in and help, he just let her do what she needed. He knew she was a extremely powerful hero. It's lucky they didn't allow quirks when they were sparring or he would surely get something broken.
"Here we are." Rumi said as they both stood in front of the restaurant.
They walked in and made their way to the counter. Rumi had asked for a table for two as they took a seat.
"So, what are you gonna get?" Rumi asked as she looked over the menu.
"Probably Katsudon. It's my favorite food." Izuku said as he had a soft smile on his face looking down at the table while leaning on his hand.
Rumi looked up and at Izuku. She had a soft smile on her face as well seeing him relaxed. She knew he had things he was dealing with that he didn't want to talk about. But there was one thing that she wanted to ask about.
"Izuku." She said to get his attention.
He looked up at her to meet with her gaze.
"What happened between you and your friends?"
