...
Bright.
"Arg..."
Izuku groaned as he opened his eyes. His head hurt, but he felt well rested. The sunshine shined down onto him through the blinds. Opening his eyes open fully, he noticed he was in the nurses office, or more known, Recovery Girl's office.
Looking around the room again, he had seen the old lady at her desk. Looking up from her computer, she noticed Izuku was awake.
"Oh, hey recovery girl, how did I-"
*Smack*
"What the hell were you thinking!? If Miruko hadn't of been there you would have killed yourself!" She yelled at him after she had smacked him upside the head with there cane.
"Ow... Wait.."
Izuku, nursing the smack on his head, thought back to last night. He was on the roof of UA and for some reason, Miruko was there. And the last thing he remembered was Miruko yelling at him, but it was kinda muffled.
"Wait, where is she now?" Izuku asked the old lady completely ignoring her yelling at him.
"*Sigh*, After she had dropped you off, she had to leave. But she made sure to give you this after you had woken up." Recovery girl said as she grabbed a piece of paper off her desk and handed it to him.
"What is it?" Izuku asked.
"I didn't open it, it was for you so I didn't want to stick my nose in places that it didn't need to be." She said walking over to her desk and sitting back down.
Izuku looked down at the paper, that was folded, and opened it up.
It was a number.
A phone number.
Miruko's phone number.
...
'WHAT!?'
Izuku had mentally yelled in his head. Why did she leave her number with him? What was he going to do with it? Would he call it? Should he call it?
He held the paper in his hand and let out a sigh to calm down. He took out his phone and typed in the number.
He put the number in his phone and stared at it. He should wait til he got back to his dorms. He put his phone away and stood up.
"Am I free to leave?" He asked recovery girl that had only given him a nod.
He put his shoes on and opened to the door that lead into the hallways of UA. He walked down the hall and made his way outside.
"Problem child." He heard a voice call to him. Knowing that to be his nickname for one person in general, he call back.
"Yes sir?" He turned face to face with Aizawa.
He walked up to him and look him in the eye. He seemed to be tired, he was always tired, but more than usual.
"Be careful next time, get some rest and even if you don't, next time, don't sit on the edge of a building." He said firm as he glared at him.
"Y-yeah sir." Izuku responded.
No matter what would happen, his glare would always being back his stuttering. He didn't know how the man could do it.
"Good, now I'm going to go get some sleep. I hope you do the same." He said walking past him in the same direction of the dorms.
Izuku waited for him to be farther in front of him so it wouldn't be awkward, since they were going to the same place.
Finally walking twords the dorms, he walked in through the doors. Originally, people would swarm him if he was ok or if he was injured at all.
But, no one asked.
They only nodded at him as he walked in and went back to their own things. They all ignored him as he walked through the common room and down the hall to his room.
'Yeah, that seems about right...' He walked into his room, closed and locked the door.
Sitting down in his bed, he pulled out his phone and went to his contacts. He scrolled until his finger was just above the name...
'Miruko'
"Here goes nothing." He said bringing his thumb down and clicking on the call button.
He held it to his ear and it began to ring.
*Ring*
What was she gonna say?
*Ring*
Wait, what if she was busy?
*Ring*
He should probably stop the call n-
*Rin-* ["Hello?"]
'She picked up!?'
"Um, hello? This is Izuku Midoriya, you le-" He was cut off from a yell from the other side.
["ABOUT TIME YOU CALLED YOU DAMN IDIOT!! WHY THE HELL DID YOU FALL OFF THR ROOF EVEN AFTER YOU SAID YOU WEREN'T GONNA JUMP!! IF I HADN'T HAVE BEEN THEIR YOU WOULD HAVE DIED!!"] She yelled nearly making him go deaf.
He rubbed his ears trying to calm the ringing going on.
"R-right. I'm really sorry about that, and thank you for catching me from the fall. I really didn't mean to fall, I was just tired..." Izuku tried to explain rubbing his neck.
["Right, that brings me to my next point! Why were you up there if you were tired, or better yet sleep deprived!"] Miruko yelled again, but not as loud as the first one.
Izuku knew this conversation wasn't gonna be the best, so he just decided to lie.
"I was just tired from the classes, and I went up to the roof to get some air before heading to sleep." Well, he half lied.
It's true that he went up to get some air, but he wasn't tired from the classes.
["Still, the roof? What made you think that was a good idea?"] She asked him.
"Well, the wind blows pretty well up there. Plus, you can't deny that the view from up there wasn't great." He said.
["Yeah, I guess that could check out pretty fine. But, you owe me for this. I don't usually do that, cause you know, it's a heros job. But you are a different story."] Miruko said.
Izuku knew that she had a smirk on on the other end. He let out a sigh and spoke up again.
"Alright, what can I do for you?"
