When we arrived at the level 3 area I found out that there were a couple people stalking us. I told Adonis and we just kept walking and waiting for them to make their move. They jumped out when we were fighting and of course I wasn't fighting but they didn't know that. Adonis and Cormac were fighting beasts and I fought the people.
"They finally came out guys!" I warned.
They didn't go for me though. They went straight for Adonis. Assassins.
"Watch out Adonis! They are probably assassins sent for you." I cautioned.
A dagger flew towards Adonis but I knocked it away. They finished the beasts and joined me in the fight with the assassins.
"Cormac can you deal with them please?" I asked.
"Yep yep!" Cormac replied.
Cormac transformed into a bigger Cormac. He bit them and threw them at the trees. He didn't kill them but it looked like it really hurt.
I picked one of them up by the collar and asked,"Who sent you?"
"Why should we answer your questions?!" he said while spitting blood.
I lit a small fire on my finger and lit his arm on fire. He scrambled to put it out but it was ineffective. As long as it had mana it would stay lit.
"Ok! Ok! I'll tell you! Just stop it please!" he begged.
I stopped the fire but still held onto him.
"It was the King of Qingham!" the assassin told me.
I let out a sliver of my aura and everyone there felt suffocated. I realized what I did and stopped. I kicked the assassin to a tree, effectively killing him.
I walked over to a tree and sat down with a frown,"Of course it's him."
"Why would he try to kill me though?" Adonis questioned.
"Maybe because of me. He might have been informed of me hanging out with you or he just wants the Thorns Kingdom to fall down." I explained.
"Does the king really hate you that much?" he asked.
"I'm pretty sure. I mean I think the attempted killing of me was planned by him. That day was pretty fishy after all." I said.
Adonis frowned. I noticed that Adonis frowns quite a lot when people make fun of me or try to hurt me. I don't know why or when he cared so much but I'm not mad about it.
We finished hunting and I got 81 level 2 cores and 126 level 1 cores. Adonis got 52 level 2 cores and 78 level 1 cores. We finished dinner and sat with our back against a tree. I let Cormac sleep today so Adonis and I had to switch out to stay on watch duty. I was the first one on watch duty. I woke him up when it was his turn. I laid on his shoulder and fell asleep.
The two day we hunted and I now had 126 level 1 cores and 265 level 2 cores. Adonis had 78 level 1 cores and 232 level 2 cores. I admittedly did give him some level 2 cores though. We decided that we got enough cores so we just rested the rest of the days. The past few days passed pretty quickly and nothing to take note of happened.
On Saturday we got teleported back to the school. All of the students were in groups and a couple of the older years were in pairs. We were the only first years that weren't in a group of 3 or more. Not a big deal though. But what was, was that we were one of the two groups that didn't have a wound on them. We only had some beast blood and dirt on us, but no wounds. The other group were fourth years. I scanned them and found that all of them except one were normal. The one guy whose stats weren't just normal probably carried them. He had sliver-gray hair with blue tips. He also had light green eyes as well.
(That's him^)
Anyways, there were four different lines leading to tables. One line for every different year. We headed over to the first year's line. My brother and Clyd were together with two other people from our previous world. They were right in front of us in the line. The two other people were in front of them and Clyd was in front of my brother. Adonis was behind my brother and I was behind him.
When it reached Clyd's turn he took out 534 level 1 beast cores and 25 level 2 beast cores. He held his head high when he saw his name in second place on the leaderboard. The leader board updated after every person's turn. Of course my brother was in first. When he walked away from the table he shove my shoulder wanting me to fall over. Of course I didn't cause he was way, way too weak to do so. Then it was Adonis's turn and of course he took the number one spot. No one was surprised though, y'know cause he's the prince. When it was my turn I saw Teacher Adlamin looking at me with expectancy from his spot. I held my hands out and organized the beast cores by level and dumped them on the table. The leaderboard then displayed my results, I was in first. Clyd and my brother looked at me with a murderous stare. If looks could kill, then I would have been dead 20 times over. Whatever though, looks could kill though. For example mine, I could kill someone with just a look if I wanted too but I didn't.
After Adonis got his storage ring back we headed back to our dorm. I cooked us dinner and went back into my room. I decided to go into my space pocket and do some tailoring and enchanting. I am thinking about opening a tailoring shop sometime later. Even though I could do blacksmithing and alchemy, I much preferred tailoring and enchanting.
I decided to open a tailoring shop, so the next morning I went to the adventurers guild to buy a shop. I ended up buying a little piece of land in the forest. I bought it because I could do whatever I wanted with the land there and I could build my own shop. It was a decent sized piece of land. I then went over to the part of the forest I owned now and found the perfect spot for my little shop.
There was a small clearing there and I used my creation magic to create a small tailor shop. I went in and furnished my little shop. I used some earth magic and created a path from the edge of the forest to my shop. I then enchanted some trees to ward off the beasts in the forest. Wouldn't want my customers to die before they reach me now would I? Anyways, after that I made some lights with my light magic and placed them next to the path. I made a barrier around my shop that kicks out people who have bad intentions when they visit my shop.
My shop would be a tailoring, enchanting, and blacksmithing shop. I was planning to have a couple normal clothing in the shop for just a bit of copper and the more elegant stuff would be a couple of silvers. I would also sell some weapons and armor and jewelry as well. All the enchanted stuff would be in the back and people could also commission for stuff as well. I also built 2 blacksmith rooms and 2 tailoring rooms so people could rent them out for 10 silvers per hour. I didn't need any rooms because I just make them in my space pocket. Oh by the way, I can also alter the time in the space pocket. Like I could make 1 hour in the pocket be 1 minute in the real world. I then made all the stuff I needed in the shop including the products. And for the reason why I want to open a shop up even though I can just create money? Well that is because I needed something to do and I felt sort of bad just having money and not needing to do anything for it.
Then, I made my way back to the dorms. I didn't have to worry about the shop either because of the barrier I put around it.
