Spencer let out a small groan as he woke up, inhaling deeply and smiling ever so slightly as he heard birds outside his window. As he came fully out of his dreams and into reality, he felt a pair of arms wrapped around his waist, causing him to let out a small gasp and flinch. "The fuck..?" He mumbled. His eyes flew open and he was met by the face of George, who was sound asleep. George's long ginger hair was a slight mess, his mouth hung open ever so slightly as he breathed deeply. He had both of his arms firmly wrapped around Spencer's waist, their legs tangled together and the covers thrown lightly about since they never truly got under them last night. A small smile tugged at Spencer's lips as he remembered what happened last night. He was slightly shocked that George stayed with him last night, not remembering that he asked him to, but he was glad he did. Spencer looked up at George's face, smiling lightly as his scent slowly began to wash over him. He remembered today was an off day and lifted his head up, looking at the alarm clock sitting on his nightstand. He let out a small sigh of relief when he saw it was still pretty early, the sun barely out. He looked down at himself and realized both he and George were still in their sweaters and jeans from yesterday.
He looked back to George and let out a yawn before another smile slowly crept its way across his lips. "Georgie" He whispered, turning dark red at the realization that they were cuddling. George didn't move a muscle. "Georgie." He called again, raising his voice to just above a whisper. George let out a small hum in his sleep, shifting around ever so slightly. His hair fell down over his face and his grip on Spencer tightened, earning a small giggle from the boy. He smiled sweetly and reached up, brushing George's hair out of his face and tucking it behind his ear. Spencer's hand lingered on George's cheek and he gently stroked it with his thumb. His cheeks turned pink as he admired the boy in his sleep, studying his features. He really was beautiful and Spencer could feel butterflies in his stomach as he stroked the boy's cheek, his slightly rosy were cheeks soft and silky. George let out another hum in his sleep and pulled Spencer closer, their bodies now pressed together. Spencer continued to stroke his cheek softly until he realized what he was doing, turning red and pulling his hand away. This up close to George he could see the light spray of freckles littering his nose and cheeks, which were ever so slightly pink. George's eyes started moving around under his eyelids as he began to dream and Spencer found himself unable to look away as he watched George, sound asleep and dreaming. He felt his cheeks heat up as he realized just how close they were. Their faces were only a few inches apart and he could feel George's breath on his face. Spencer glanced down at George's lips as they parted slightly, a small, incoherent mumble escaping the ginger.
George began to move around, his eyebrows furrowing slightly as he began to mumble under his breath. "Georgie.." Spencer called, watching as George began to stir and breathe heavier. "Georgie. Wake up." He put a hand on George's shoulder, shaking him gently. "George, wake up. You're having a nightmare." He shook him again and the boy's brown eyes snapped open. He let out a small gasp, breathing heavily as he came out of his nightmare. "Hey. You're okay, it was just a nightmare." George looked down at Spencer, slowly coming back to reality as he let out a small groan. "Spencer..?" he grumbled. His morning voice was deep and raspy and Spencer felt his stomach flip at the sound, although he wondered why. "Morning sleepyhead." George let out a small chuckle and blinked his eyes harshly to adjust to the light. "I forgot I stayed with you last night. Did you sleep okay?" Spencer nodded, turning pink and avoiding eye contact as he began to get nervous now that George was awake. "I did actually, yeah... Did you?" George nodded, looking down at the boy. "I did until I started having that nightmare." Spencer nodded softly, silent for a few seconds before he spoke up. "Sorry for asking you to stay. You know you didn't have to." George let out a small chuckle and shook his head. "I really didn't mind. I wanted to make sure you were okay."
Spencer continued to avoid eye contact and George stared at him, his eyes narrowing as he studied the boy's expression. "Stop staring" Spencer mumbled, turning pink as he hid behind his hands. "Sorry..you're just really pretty.." George mumbled, reaching up with one hand and rubbing his eye. George was so tired he didn't even realize what he said as Spencer froze, his stomach doing a flip. He felt his cheeks heat up, turning beat red as he looked up at George again. "I'm what?" George looked down at him as he yawned. "Hm?" He hummed softly, half asleep and still pretty out of it. "George you called me pretty." He froze, his eyes going slightly wide as he looked at Spencer. "I did?" When Spencer nodded George's cheeks and ears turned dark red and he avoided eye contact. "Sorry.." He muttered. His arms were still wrapped around Spencer's waist, their legs still tangled together as Spencer looked at him. "No, it's okay.. I'm just not used to people giving me compliments." George looked at him again and furrowed his eyebrows slightly. "Seriously?" When Spencer nodded, a tiny smile came over George. "Well, it's true" Spencer blushed again and shook his head, finding himself unable to look away from George.
