I smiled as after a long day I finally heard the door open signalling that Niki just came home, I heard a bag fall to the ground and frowned
I started to get up until the door was pushed open, there she stood, tears in her eyes, she comes over and just collapses in my arms
I started to rub her back softly "hey shh it's OK hunny..." I kissed her head softly as she layed on my shoulder letting her tears flow
"I hate today" she sobbed into my shoulder as I continued to rub her back "want to talk about it?"
I felt her shake her head softly as he started to calm down and now pulled away from my shoulder
I grabbed her cheeks softly and wipe the tears, I could see her smile softly
I leaned in leaning my head against hers our foreheads connected as we sat there, she held my hand that layed on her cheeks, our eyes closed
After a while we pulled away and just hugged cuddles up more "thank you" Niki mumbles softly
"there's no need to thank me love, I know you'd do the same for me" as I said that I eared a other smile from the sweet girl
We soon just layed down and putted on soft music to take a rest, the day ended with the music in the back fading as we both fell asleep
