Neko is the Japanese word for cat. It can refer to actual cats or to characters in anime or manga that have catlike features. Specifically, the catgirl (a woman with cat ears, whiskers, and sometimes paws or a tail) is referred to as a neko.
I had got woken up by my boyfriend who had kept pushing his head against my arm, I hummed softly
He stopped and sat criss cross next to me as I layed down, head slightly twords me
I chuck softly and petted him, also scratching behind his ears
He purred slightly as I did, leaning into my hand as I did scratch
I smiled and kissed his head softly as I sat up a bit smiling at him, I patted my stomach a bit
He immediately know what it meant, he layed on top of me, his head in the crook of my neck, arms tightly around my waist of course not too tight
I smiled and started to softly scratch his back, my hand soon going under his shirt to make it more affective
His purring got louder, tail going crazy, I smiled widely, my eyes were still droopy seeing I was still tired
I guess Dream was too seeing as his tail and ears fell abut flat, his breathing got softer
I smiled softly and left a soft kiss on his head
"I love you kitty~"
