"PICK UP..." Y/n whispered as she held her phone to her ear, rolling on her side as she laid in her futon. The line rung 3 times, before the person she was contacting picked up.
"...Hello?"
"Francis. Don't freak out."
Doing the complete opposite, Francis sharply gasped at the sound of her voice.
"W...Huh...But...Adam said you...you were killed!" He whispered.
"I staged my death and ran away!" She giggled, turning onto her back. "But I felt bad leaving you and Thomas behind. I figured I'd call to give you some closure."
She heard him sigh on the other line.
"...Where are you? Are you safe?"
"Mhm. I promise you, I'll be okay."
She then heard Francis start to sniffle, making her quickly sit upright. "F-Francis!? Are you crying!?"
"I-I thought you were dead!!" He hissed into the microphone, sounding more angry than upset. "You could've given me a heads up!!"
