Chapter 5 Together Again

A few days later from the talk it's now Monday morning. El wakes up Will and El and sends them to school since they still have to learn. The kids are both pretty tired since they had to wake up extra early cause the dive is way longer.
They get to the school and go to their lockers, El opens her locker and a note falls out onto the floor. She picks it up and it reads...

Hi, I know you're new so maybe I could be your friend,
You seem cool and your also really pretty (forget I ever said that)
I know your brother Will also with the nickname Zombie-Boy
Since in '83 he disappeared and was found dead
And now is back alive but that's not the point.
Just right back and put it in locker 233 across the hall from yours
Maybe write down your number so we can talk more.

El didn't know what to do, Troy put a note in her locker, like Troy Troy the boy that called her a weirdo, she broke this boy's arm, does he not know it's me? The weirdo? El thought I needed Will.
El went over to Will and handed him the note,
"Troy put this in my locker.." she said. Will read the note and his jaw dropped.
"Tory, as in my old school bully Troy?!" Will said, El nodded. "He's hitting on you!" Will continued.
"What does that mean?" She asked.
"He wants to get in your pants, remember that talk you had with Kali yesterday? That's what he wants to do with you."
"But I already have a boyfriend."
"Exactly, he doesn't know you and Mike are dating, he left Hawkins after '84"
"But wasn't he at the snowball? Almost everyone was there."
"Well, I guess not everyone because I didn't see him."
Just as Will finished talking the bell rang. El quickly goes back to her locker and grabs her things and goes to class. She sits at her desk which was moved to the front of the class no longer beside will, she sits there silently, nervous, scared...
She once again wasn't ready for her 2nd day of school, it's scary, there are so many people, she hated being there but she had no choice but to be there.
    After a long first-class, the principal comes into the room.
"El, may I talk to you?" she said, everyone started staring at El, she got up and walked out of the class to the principal, Mrs. White, she closed the door after El walked out of the room and sat her down on a bench in the hall and sat beside her.
"So El, we don't know much about your past, we'd like to know more, is that ok?" she said.
"We?" El asked.
"That's not important, but can you tell us more?"
El shook her head.
"Why not? Do you not know?"
El shook her head again. "I know," she said quietly.
"Well then tell me." Mrs. White said.
"Can't," she said.
"You said you know so tell me."
El shook her head again which made Mrs. White lose her patients.
"Tell me goddammit!" She yelled, this scared El making her flinch and look down at the floor.
"Tell me now!" Mrs. White said again, tightly grabbing El's wrist. This made El mad and scared so she got up and yelled "No!" then she made Mrs. White fly off the bench hitting her head. El then went back to class with a bloody nose not noticing.
"El your nose. What happened?" Mr. Willson said, grabbing tissues for her. El took the tissues and wiped away the blood and said nothing.
"She gets bloody noses sometimes it's nothing," Will said, hoping Mr. Willson wouldn't question anything.
"Ok, well if you need you can go to the washroom," Mr. Willson said without questioning anything.
    It was not lunch and El was sitting alone cause Will was sitting with a few other people. Troy walked up to El and sat beside her.
"Now what is a girl like you sitting alone for?" he said.
"Go away," El replied.
"Oh, so she's in a bad mood, me like."
"I said go away," El said once again, slightly raising her tone.
"And why should I?" Troy said, putting his hand on hers. El moved her hand and said, "I will kindly break your arm again if you don't leave right now!"
"What do you mean?"
"Remember that weirdo with a shaved head?! That's me now leave!"
Troy then got scared, got up, and left.
    After school Joyce and Jonathan came to pick up Will and El, the two got in the back seats since Jonathan was in the front and Joyce began to drive in the direction of Hawkins.
"Are we going back?" Will asked excitedly "
Yes, we are," Joyce said smiling.

    It was a long drive, El fell asleep laying her head on Will's Shoulder and Will fell asleep saying his head on El's head. It was around 12:00 am, they got to the Wheeler's house, when Joyce stopped it made Eleven jump awake and El jumping awake made Will jump awake too.
"Were here," Joyce said happily. El looked out the window and saw The Party, she got really excited (specifically because she saw Mike), Will got excited too. They both quickly got out of the car and El ran up to Mike jumping up wrapping her legs around him hugging him tightly, Mike hugged back and held her making sure he wouldn't drop her.
"Look at those love birds," Dustin said chuckling. El then got down because she got embarrassed from what Dustin said, then after El got down Mike yelled "Group hug!" Everyone laughed and got into a group hug.
    The parents of every one were smiling seeing how happy they were, well Jonathan was taking pictures, he also got some pretty good ones too for Mike and El's future wedding.
After the hug, Max said,
"Now El and I can go shopping again at a different place, without boys." "Or dumping any asses" Mike added and everyone chuckled
"Hopefully not, so Mike you better now lie about your nana again or else your ass will be dumped again," El said and giggled.
"I had a good reason for that, plus that was like a year ago so it doesn't matter anymore," Mike replied.
"It might matter if you do it again,"  Max said.
"It won't, Hopper can't threaten me anymore,'' Mike said, realizing what he said, this made El remember that the letter is gonna and he is as well.
"Mike!" Max said. Max then covered El's ears and said,
"Don't remind her!"
El moved Max's hands off her ears,
"It's fine don't worry about it, I'm over it." She said obviously not over his death but trying to hide that. Mike knows everything about El so he plans on hugging her and apologizing for what he said.
   
    A while later the kids decide they want to play some DND but since El and Max don't know how to play, the boys are gonna have to teach them. Mike grabs 2 more chairs for the girls, putting one beside his chair and the other beside Lucas' chair, El sits in the one beside Mike and Max sits in the one beside Lucas.
"The Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game is about storytelling in worlds of swords and sorcery. Like games of make-believe, D&D is driven by imagination. It's about picturing a crumbling castle in a darkening forest and imagining how a fantasy adventurer might react to the challenges that scene presents." Dustin said.
"In the fantasy world, the possibilities are limitless!'' Mike told the girls.
They tell them way more about the game, fantasy world, and how to play it, with this game it's a bit harder for El to imagine everything since she never really had a normal childhood so she doesn't have a big imagination so mike was telling her what he saw in his head so she could see roughly the same thing.
    El, as everyone knows, is a lot of the time confused about stuff, and when she's confused everybody knows, she'll ask what certain words mean like in this case she didn't know what a dragon or elf was so she said "Dragon?" and "Elf?" and in that case, Mike immediately went to her assistants and explained what they are, Lucas even showed her a picture of them.
    They played DND for many hours, Karen Wheeler brought down some snacks and drinks and made sure to get some eggos for El, she appreciated that.
It was now like 3 am, they've been playing for about 3 hours, El was obviously very tired, she had her head laying on Mike's shoulder not paying much attention to the game, and was yawning.
"I think we should go to bed, it's like 3 in the morning," Max said.
"Ya that's a good idea, El looks really tired." Mike said.
"Maybe we can finish in the morning?" Will asked and everyone agreed.
Mike got up from his seat and said.
"Come on El" and put out his hand, El took his hand and they made their way to bed, Will went to the spare room and laid down and immediately fell asleep, the others just grabbed some blankets and went to sleep on the basement floor. When Mike and El got to his room El sat on his bed, Mike handed her a pair of Nancy's PJs since El didn't have any and told her she can change in the bathroom so he can get changed, so that's exactly what El did. When she came back Mike had just finished changing. They got in bed and cuddled, talked for a few minutes till El fell asleep so then Mike went to sleep.
