Do ever feel yourself falling for somebody and you dont notice it until your to deep in?

The next day (Yachi's pov)

I walk inside the gym and rub my neck. I see the whole team in a corner talking?

"uh- hey Kiyoko senpai- whats going on?" I ask

"I have no idea.." 

I hesitate but then remember I'm a manager or at least an a assistant I should help her. I go up to Hinata and tap on his back. For some reason he jumped when he saw me.

"real smooth." Tsukishima commented

Yamaguchi chuckled behind him and Sugawara hit Tsukishima's back. I hesitate and rub my neck. Holy- everybody is staring at me why did I do this-

"u-uh..Why are y-you guys in a corner.. N-NOT THAT IT'S BAD IM JUST CURIOUS" 

A shade of pink shows on Hinata's face. Tanaka smirks,

"a-ah sorry- ill let you guys be.." I run back

Kiyoko chuckled and lets me know its okay since they won  the game yesterday. I nod and take out a snack, since were not really doing anything. I grab some juice and stab my straw in. Kiyoko sat next to me and started to play with my hair.

It startled me I looked at her and then start drinking my juice again.

"why do you always wear that star pin?" Kiyoko asked

I froze. WHAT DO I TELL HER- what if she thinks im not over Shota!? well maybe Im not. CALM THE FUCK DOWN YACHI. Oh god she is  staring at me-

"its fine if you dont wanna shar-"

"OH- no im sorry! I zoned out- um.. it was a gift"

"Really from who?"

I looked down

"An old friend" 

We chit-chat about some things like, Clothes, volleyball, Animals, Manga, food. 

"Hey- uh want to come to the Cat cafe after school?"  I asked Kiyoko

"Yea sure" Kiyoko smiled

"-With the team they deserve a break"

Kiyoko looked up clearly disappointed..did I say something wrong? did she not like cats?

"Yes ,of course they have been working hard." Kiyoko sighed "let me go ask Dachi since hes team caption" 

Kiyoko got up and went and tapped Dachi's shoulder.

" KIYOKOOO" Tanaka and Nova said in unison

Kiyoko ignored it, and the two weeped about it. Kiyoko talked to Dachi. He nodded and told the team and everybody was excited. She walked back and sat back down.

"They loved the idea, Especially Yamaguchi...turns out he likes cats" Kiyoko giggled

I giggled along with her. I loved her laugh it was so.. contagious.

Soon school was done.. I grabbed my things and I changed out of my manger uniform. Me and Kiyoko talked while we walked to meet up with the team again. We greeted each other and continued walking to the cafe.

"Hey Yachi." Kageyama waved

"U-uh hi!"

"I had a question for you"

We walked side by side and Kiyoko walked with Tanaka 

"Do you have a thing for Hinata"

I choked on the air and looked at him wide eyed. He smirked

"W-WHAT NO OF COURSE- NO I MEAN HES NOT UGLY- I-I JUST DONT HAVE ANY-" I exclaimed

"its fine I think I got my awnser" He smirked while he went back to Hinata

I hit my head with my hand. I overreacted now he thinks I like Hinata oh no~ Why did he ask Me that question anyway? Could it be..

"hey are you okay" Kiyoko murmured

"EEK OH- yea im fine" I rubbed my neck

Kiyoko stared at me 

"I see you rub your neck alot.." 

"OH um I-its kinda a habit I guess"

Everybody was talking to each other. It was nice..It was hot outside but it was cooled down by the wind. the sparklers turned on next to us and we had to pull Noya and Tanaka so they didient get wet.

"were here!' Dachi exclaimed

My face was glowing and so was Yamaguchi's. I love cats and I was so exited to go inside! We opened up the door to see girls in cat ears. We got seated at out table I sat next to Kiyoko and Hinata. The boys were talking about volleyball, I was looking at the menu when somebody came to our table.

"Hi what would you like you order!" a cheerful voice chirped

We all said our order then I looked up at Kiyoko

"h-hey can we go look at the cats?"

"of, course thats why were here aren't we?"

Yamaguchi heard us and asked if he could join us and we both agreed Tsukishima was coming to including Hinata and Kageyama. There was so many cats! My favorite are black cats, now that I think about it the black cats remind me of Kiyoko..  I went and picked up the black kitten and held it up in-front of Kiyoko.

"This cats reminds me of you" I smiled widely

"hm? how so?" she asked curiously 

Her question caught me off guard-

"I- uh well its black like your hair!... its calm and peaceful like you and its really c-cute-" I stopped from hearing my words and a blush creeped up my face.  Kiyoko had a little blush on her face to and thanked me she slowly pet the cat and sat down next to me. Hinata came towards me

"that cat is adorable!" Hinata exclaimed

"it is right!" I agreed

Hinata smiled while and he sat down next to me. He pet the cat, and the cat just layed her head on my arm. She purred and my heart melted and Hinata noticed.

"are you a cat person" He teased

"W-well I love all animals! But, cats are the cutest to me"

Hinata chuckled and continued to pet the cat. A waiter went to us and offered us some cat treats

"Oh, would you and your boyfriend like some cat treats?" 

B-BOYFRIND WHAT. MY face reddened like a strawberry as Hinata's did.

"U-Uh were not dating" Hinata murmured

"Oh! My apologies would you still like the treats" she said hesataintly

"O-OH dont w-worry! and uh  yes please" I added my face still red

The cat got off my lap and ate the treat from Hinata's hand. Hinata looked at me and smiled, I returned the smile. Both of our faces were still red form the waitress comment.

"Hey so are you doing anything tomorrow?" Hinata asked

"n-"

"Sorry Hinata, Yachi is actually hanging out with me tommrow"
