Midsummer's Tale

7 2 1

Some words never said,
Some never heard.
A heart that never stayed,
And an eternity scarred.
A text never read,
A call not received.
A passion that never strayed,
An innocent soul who believed.
A date never went on,
A kiss never had.
Eyes full to the brim,
In frost a heart clad.
Eyes sore from counting stars,
Breathing but lives no more.
Craving for a touch,
Intertwining breaths...
A bit of love,
And a spark to reignite.
An impatient heart waiting,
Patiently.
And fate denying,
Delinquently.
