Ever since Etoile and Ciel spoke to each other, Ciel began to be more open, he talks more, he expresses his feelings more. Etoile starts her day by putting on her outfit, as usual, brushing her hair, and putting on a ribbon. A squeak behind her made her stop, she turns around to meet with the cutest rat she has ever seen. The little rat cleans itself with its paws, her eyes start to tear up by its cuteness. Etoile adores the tiny rat, she didn't mind the rat sitting on her bed, making itself comfortable

"Etoile it's time- AH!" Mey screams and points at the rat, her scream alerted the other servants, Finny and Bard ran next to her side "Mey-Rin why are-Bloody hell Etoile! Get that filthy thing outta here!" Bard yelled while looking for a nearby broom but Finny went next to Etoile and admire the rat. She thinks about an idea, she gently picks up the rat, which was surprisingly calm
"Would you like to pet it?" She brought the mouse closer to them, Mey and Bard scoot back "No! That thing is cover in filth!" "You can wash your hands" She smiles as she gets closer and closer

Sebastian was occupied serving his master then heard the servants laughing, yelling, and running "Go check on those fools" Ciel sip his tea as he skims through the newspaper, Sebastian left and went to the servant's hall "What you idiots-" He opened the door to reveal Etoile holding a rat with Finny, chasing down Mey-Rin and Bard who was holding a broom, Tanaka was there watching the whole thing, sipping his tea. Sebastian sigh and clap his hands, gaining the servant's attention, he glares at them. Sebastian went towards Etoile and took the rat out of her hands
"Etoile, these are rodents, not pets"
"They can be..." She mumbled
"Now all of you, get on your best behavior, we're having guests arriving shortly"

"Yes, sir!" They shouted

Ciel is in the entertainment room along with his guests, after a few left, there were few people still here, Lau, Ran-Mao, and Madam Red along with her butler, Grell. Etoile and the others were in the hallway, catching the rats that Sebastian assigned. Mey was using traps to capture the rat but some were caught in her hands, Finny is wearing a cat costume along with a stray cat that he found outside, Bard is using cooking utensils to capture them, and Etoile luring them with treats

Ciel calls out for Etoile which she happily responded, he leads to the lounge area where the other guests were, she instantly became timid and went next to Sebastian "Today's tea is a darjeeling from Fortnum & Mason" Etoile went to serve the tea to the guests, keeping her head down. Ciel saw her acting strange
'Well, that's new. She's never shy with the others' He thought
"Smells lovely and I see you brought in a new maid" Lau said, bring all the attention to Etoile 'Did I do something wrong? What did I do? Am I in trouble?'

"What is her name, Lord Phantomhive?"
"Etoile" Etoile took a glimpse of one of the guests, crimson hair, eye and everything she's wearing is red, just being near her presence made Etoile calm "You have a lovely maid, Phantomhive" Madam Red smiles "Grell, learn something from them, I mean... Look at him" She starts rubbing Sebastian's backside, Sebastian went stiff and his expression went to shock, everyone stared at Madam's action
"You're a fine-looking man, aren't you? Quit serving this country house and come work with me!"

"Madam Red..." Ciel cough, gaining his aunt's attention
"Oh, goodness, I'm sorry! It just looks like he needed a physical, you know doctor's habits" Lau chuckled
"You believe the drug traffickers was one of your guests today, my lord?"
"Perhaps"

'What are drugs anyway? Why am I here? I feel so out of place. What are the others doing? Why am I worrying so much!?'
A hand is on Etoile's shoulder, she turned around to see Sebastian with a worried look on his face 'I guess I'm thinking too much'  "Watch it!" Madam Red yelled
"Keep your paws off of my darling nephew!" She took Ciel out of Lau's grip,
"You wounded me, I would never do such a thing!" Madam Red and Lau continue to argue, Ciel left the room, Sebastian and Etoile followed him out of the room

"Here... And here too"
"Get it!!" The servants panicked around the halls catching the rats
"Young Master, Today we'll be having a deep-dish apple raisin pie. It will be ready soon, will you eat with your guests?"
'I think he rather eats my homemade cream puffs' She pouts
"Bring it to my room. I can't deal with them anymore" Ciel walks away, Etoile watches him leave in the distance

'I guess he also feels stressed out. I know exactly what to do!' Etoile went to the kitchen, already got a recipe in mind
'I hope he'll enjoy this!' After a while, the dessert is prepared then she found out that Ciel gotten kidnapped by the Italian mafia. The servants were worried if they should eat dessert that Sebastian left out and Etoile is worried about Ciel and Sebastian
"Since Mr. Michaelis said to throw out the dessert, we could eat it. We don't want to waste it, do we?"
"You're right! Finny get the silverware! Mey-Rin get the tea!" Etoile was already eating the pie
"I don't see a single knife or fork" Finnh frowns "That doesn't matter! Etoile is gonna eat it all before we have a taste" Bard yelled

After the servant feast down the dessert, Etoile doze off

Sobbing and yelling. Etoile woke up to be in the same place, the darkness, the benches, the person

"Can't you tell? We're gonna suffer. It hurts"

The same voice

'Suffer? What-'

Images came to her mind, blood everywhere, it's painted red! It felt like she lost someone important but doesn't know, she cries, yells, screaming her heart out. Etoile was one of sobbing and yelling, it wasn't the other person. It was her

'Please stop! I don't want to think about this anymore! Let me out!!'

"Etoile?" Mey shakes her shoulder, waking her instantly "Oh hi, Mey"
"The young master came back! Come!" Mey ran out the door "I'm coming..." She wipes the tears that were forming in her eyes and followed Mey. Sebastian was there carrying Ciel, who is bruised and wounded
"Master! You're hurt!"
"I just tripped while I was out. Don't worry about it" Finny, Mey, and Etoile stare at them "What? You don't believe your master" They shook their heads

"You look...cute!" They exclaim
"Put me down this instant, Sebastian!! And don't stare at me like that!" They talked and talked. Etoile is busy in her mind, wondering if she's gonna get those nightmares again but this time she will be prepared for the next one. It will not haunt her forever
