Etoile attempts her best by trying to make Ciel happy. She has been trying for at least 4 days but it always fails. Tomorrow will be Sunday, her break from work. Etoile says goodbye to her friends before heading out to her chamber. She looks around the plain room
'Maybe tomorrow I could customize it a bit' She imagines many ideas that popped in her head. She went to the washroom to take a warm bath, after that, she put in her nightgown, lays in bed along with her journal and fountain pen. She writes down ideas such as 'adding plants, a suncatcher or wind chime, and paintings' then fell asleep with a grin on her face

It was Sunday, Etoile rushed down to the kitchen and met with Sebastian, who's preparing Ciel's breakfast
"Good morning, Etoile. This isn't like you to wake up in the morning"
"Because today is special!" She said, proudly "soo... Can I help with breakfast?" She smiles
"You can start brewing master's tea" which she did immediately. "Mr. Michaelis, how did you meet Ci- master?" Sebastian stops as he thinks "I apologize but it's private information" after the tea is finished, she placed it on the cart with scones and muffins. Sebastian took it down to Ciel's bedroom, Etoile follows him

"Have you forgotten that today is your break?" Sebastian said as he glances back "Nope! Like I said, today is special" They both arrived at Ciel's room. Sebastian opens the curtains which woke Ciel up, Ciel rubs his eyes, he saw Etoile, she smiles and waves, he immediately covers his right eye "You bastard! Why is she here?" "There's no reason to be alarmed, she's just here to be my assistant. Etoile, could you leave for a while?" Etoile nodded and exit the door

'Did I do something wrong?' She scratches her head 'And why does Ciel over his eye? He's hiding something and I will figure it out!' After a few minutes of waiting, Ciel came out along with Sebastian. They both walk to the dining room where the other servants were
"Good morning!"
"Good morning" Ciel sat down, Sebastian "Now shouldn't you three be working?" "Yes, sir!" They all hurried off to their places
'I guess I could go find something to do' Etoile walks out of the dining room, Ciel watches her leave
'I wonder what she wants. Ever since I got that dessert, she has been acting strange. Is she the one who made that dessert' Ciel is interrupted by Sebastian chuckling "What's so amusing?" He glares at his butler
"Lady Elizabeth would be heartbroken if you took interested another woman" Ciel starts coughing on his tea "I'm not interested in her!! She's a servant!" He blushed as he feast down on his breakfast

Etoile wanders off the garden to look for Finny but instead, she met a broken ladder 'This could work!' She imagines the ladder cut in half, painted, one of the halves could be a shelf for her potted plants. She drags the ladder to Bard, who was smoking outside "Hey Bard!" She waves at him, She explains to him her idea. Bard starts sawing down the ladder "So what you're gonna do with the extras?" "I will figure out something" She waves goodbye and thanks. She heads basement where the paint was stored. She paints vines, trees, and flowers over the ladder. It was very time-consuming but Etoile was having fun with it. After she's done painting, she took it outside to let it dry. She went to look for Ciel and found him walking into his office

In the office, Ciel's desk is covered by paperwork
'No way! Ciel does this by himself' He begins his work. Etoile went next to Sebastian and whispered "This is what he does every day?!" Sebastian nodded "Does his parents ever come back?"
"No" He said, preparing Ciel's tea
'Poor Ciel. I'm sure I will make you happy' Etoile sat on a chair, she waits and waits, for Ciel to finished. She ends up reading a book but it ended up being a boring book so she took a nap

The door slams, spooking Etoile awake, Ciel wasn't at his desk, only a plate and piles of paperwork, Sebastian wasn't here either. She looks outside, it was about to be sunset. She looks around the manor for Ciel, she checked the lounge area, the library, the foyer, the dining room, the kitchen. She looked everywhere! But the only place she hasn't check is outside. She went to the courtyard to see Ciel, the atmosphere feels tense, she can tell Ciel was stress, she quietly walks next to him. It was silent between the two then Etoile spoke
"Are you okay?" it was still silent for a moment then he spoke "I'm fine" then it's quiet again

"Isn't this where my servants found you?" He said, he's standing on the direct spot where she was found, there were flowers between the cracks of the concrete. Spring is here "Yes. I'm glad to see you taking a break" Ciel looks at her, he was curious "Why?" She chuckles "Because you're working so hard" the cold night air blew their hair in the wind
"Ciel, tell me about yourself"
"Cie- Fine. I'm Ciel Phantomhive, the current head of the Phantomhive Manor, I'm also the Queen's Watchdog and the owner of the Funtom Corporation"
Etoile thinks about the word 'Funtom'
'Funtom...Funtom...Wait I know-' Her head began to hurt as she remembers, she felt a hand on her shoulder

"Etoile" Ciel leans close to her then he realized what he was doing "I apologize! That was very unpolite of me" He blushes and looks away "No it's fine. It's just the word 'Funtom' it made me remember something" Ciel glances at her
"Funtom company. They sell toys and candy, don't they?" Ciel nodded
"Now about your parents. Can you tell me about them?" He became stiff when he heard the word 'parents' then Etoile realize "Oh I'm so sorry!" "It's fine" Silence came again "Well do you want to talk about your eyepatch? It reminds me... Of a grumpy blueberry pirate! It suits you"

"What!!" Ciel looks at her and saw her laughing and smiling "I don't understand"
"What do you mean you're-" "No I know that! But I don't understand why are still smiling. You lost memories, you're not worried or anything yet you continue to smile like it never happened. Once you've lose something, you never get it back" Ciel looks down
"And that's fine" she laughs "what" He stares at her in awe
"I'm not getting that in my way. Sure, I lost my memories but I won't let it make me feel down. I'm happy with the things and people that I have and met. Like you! So should we eat dinner or not?"

Ciel continues to stares at her 'You lost your memories. You will never remember the friends you had, you will never remember the home you had and you will never remember the parents you had. Yet you smile. How..' Etoile walks back inside the manor, Ciel catches up with her
"So, you like my eye patch?" Ciel gave a slight smile which made Etoile even happier "Yes! I hope you liked the cream puff"

"So you were the one who made them. Thank you"
