"There's no friggen way you just did that."
"Why are you even surprised" I say with a smirk.
"You'd kick a man well he's down" Jay says with his best attempt at puppy dog eyes
"Yes if it means I'll win" I chuckle
"I almost forgot how competitive you are" Jay laughs. We'd been playing Different card games for hours.
"Ok ok let's have a break"
"Have a kit Kat "
"Shut up" Jay pushes my shoulder well chuckling lightly
"Yeh we've been playing for a while" I say this but I could've kept playing for hours if it meant I won. Me and Jay had been together all day, I was a little worried when I arrived as soon as opening hours would allow not wanting to seem too excited but the very pushy and freakishly strong nurse had spotted me before I could escape. Luckily Jay seemed happy i was there, we talked and play games for hours.
"Alright I'm bored what should we do now"
"Hmm Netflix and chill" Jay smirked at me. My cheeks turned bright red and I let out a nervous laugh. Jay burst out laughing, he reached forward and pinched my cheek, " I can't believe your cheeks still get soo red "
"Shut up let's just watch the office "
Jay reached over and grabbed his laptop putting it on his lap then patting the space next to him. I paused
"I can just sit here..." I was sitting next to him in a hard plastic chair. I really didn't want to sit there but felt like sitting on a bed next to him was bound to make me do something embarrassing.
"Don't be silly Lily, come on" Jay patted the seat next to him much more firmly
" okay okay" i climbed up next to him, sitting up to straight trying not to lean against him.
Jay chuckled and put his arm around me pulling me flush against him
"Lily I'm fine , surgery didn't turn me into glass"
"Haha yeh.. sorry" mhm mhm surgery, yes that's why...
Jay picked um the laptop and put it between us
" damn that thing is so hot when it's sits on my lap"
"That's what she said" I said it before I could stop myself. Jay burst out laughing. I pressed play.

Something in my heart exploded when I realised where I was, I shot up seeing that Jay was lying on his back next to me with his laptop on his stomach, Kev has dragged the chair around to jays side of the bed where they were talking. I remember watching the office, then lying back so we were more comfortable and then me saying I just wanted to simply rest my eyes. Oh noooo. I look to the space next to Jay and the obvious dent in his pillow, I had definitely been cuddling him. I shot my head up to look at Jay bringing my arms out in front shaking them wildly.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry" I said with red cheeks
"For what" Jay said looking confused but his confused face was a bit too perfect and I could see the glint in his eye.
"Yeh for what" said Kev smirking and shoot his eyes towards Jay occasionally
"You know.." I say sheepishly, bringing my hands up to my face and peeking through my fingers. I lean back and go to put my hands behind me but misjudge how close I am to the bed. Before I know it I'm falling backwards, I see Jay reaching out to grab but it's too late. I do a backward somersault and land on my hands and knees and a lot of face. Kev bursts out laughing
"Man you were right, she is clumsy"
"Crap are you okay Lily" i feel jays hand on my back, he's jumped out of bed and is bent over with me. I crack up laughing. After being clumsy my whole life I've learnt to laugh it off( otherwise I'd cry). Jay starts laughing too. I look up at him and he stops.
"Shit your bleeding Lily" I bring my hand up to my face and realise my nose is bleeding. All I can think of though is jay bleeding, in the car, unconscious.
"Shit you shouldn't be out of bed" I look at jay panicked
" your stitches!"
"It's fine Lily"
" no no I'm fine get in bed"
" Lily how do you think I go toilet"
My face goes beat red again. I'm an idiot an absolute idiot.
" ok now we can get you fixed up" jays says well smirking clearly knowing what he was doing when he said that. He calls the nurse, an attractive blond haired, brown eyed nurse with curves for days. She spends the whole time flirting with Kev. Once she leaves Kev looks at me dead in the eyes with a completely straight face
"Ok Lily do it again"
Me and Jay burst out laughing. I laugh but know I probably will do it again sadly.
