~~~Emma's POV~~~
I was excited to see Lia. I could give her the gift I bought for her and Liam. “Hey, Emma. I'm going. Bye.” and she left.
I tried to stop her just when Liam pulled me and placed a hand on my mouth, preventing me from calling Lia. “Why? I wanted to give her-” I stopped as I didn't want to give a spoiler.
“Anyways, this is for you. Give it to Lia later” I said while giving him one of the bags. And went to his room as if it was my own.
I knew he would never stop me from going into his from. I reached his room. But it was a complete mess.
And there was sprite all over the bed. I mean, what? Then I decided to go to the other room.
Liam came inside the room and asked me, holding my green top “You brought this for me?” “Oh no, sorry. This one's for you.” I handed him the other bag. He opened all the gift wrapping papers and finally opened the box with the rings.
Emma - Surprise
Liam - What is this?
Emma - Oh god Liam. I know everything. You don't have to hide it from me. I also know that you were avoiding me because we are close friends and you didn't want Lia to feel insecure as you guys are in a relationship. Right?
Liam - What? Are you serious? Okay, first of all. I'm sorry for what I did. I didn't mean any of it. I swear. Secondly, no. We are not together.
Emma - No no no no no. Do not even think of lying to me.
Liam - It's true Emma. Why would I ever lie to you.
Emma - Oh really? Wait, then why were you smiling after you kissed her.
Liam - Woah, were you stalking me? And the reason why I smiled was because I got shy.
Emma - I don't stal- oh it's raining. Wow! Can we go out? Please.
Liam agreed and we went out. I told him about the Brian incident and how he came to me in the morning saying I was his sister. Then we talked about various things.
I felt hungry and we came inside. After dinner I took a shower and he cleaned his room. I was on the bed when all of a sudden the lights went out.
I screamed as I am scared of dark and Liam came running. I asked him to sleep with me. Eventhough he was hesitanting a little.
I made him agree at the end. After about 30 minutes, the room lighted up.
And maybe the T.V. was already on before the power cut. So we switched the lights off but decided to watch T.V. for sometime. The rain was getting heavier and heavier.
Liam wanted to watch a news channel. So we did. “Heavy rain is expected for next one week. People are requested to please stay inside their houses. If the condition stays the same we might also have flood.” said the news reporter.
I have to stay with Liam for a week now? “Wow! That's nice. You get to spend so much time with Liam” said the devil on my left shoulder.
“No. You can not be a burden to somebody. This is completely wrong.” disagreed the angel on my right shoulder. I was confused.
About what I should do. Or if I wanted to stay at Liam's house. About everything right now.
And most importantly about my feelings for him. I didn't want to be a burden like the angel said.
But also the idea of waking up with him, sleeping with him, eating with him, watching T.V. with him, staying with him in general was making me excited. I was totally confused about my feeling for him.
I was ambivalent.
