7 - Aftermath

~~~Liam's POV~~~

I got up before Emma. Her back was still facing me.

I gently kissed her shoulder a few times which resulted in her waking up. "Good morning Emma" "Good morning" she turned towards me.

What an amazing day! Emma's sleepy face is the first thing I get to see in the morning. She rubbed her eyes and looked at me.

That's it. I kissed her. I was not very gentle but she didn't stop me.

She seemed to like it as much as I did. Okay okay. I might be exaggerating but she did like it.

I broke the kiss, Emma's eyes were still closed and I said "About last night" she looked at me. "Thanks for trusting me." she nodded. She parted her lips on order to say something but didn't continue.

"Say it." I pulled her into an embrace. "So......." "Yeah, continue." she was still hesitating. "So am I not a virgin anymore?" she asked.

"No, you are not." I said while stroking the back of her head. "But I always thought I would do it with somebody I loved." she said, almost whispering.

"Do you not love me?" I asked her. Emma stood up and sat on the edge of the bed. Looking at the window covered with hundreds of droplets which were increasing every second as it was still drizzling.

"I do. But it should be from both the sides Liam. So-" she didn't complete her sentence again. I don't blame her for that. My Emma can get a little shy when it comes to these things.

"Did I not tell you yesterday, Emma?" I asked, knowing the answer. "You said it in the heat of the moment." her voice getting shaky. I went closer to her wrapped my arms around her waist.

I put my chin on her shoulder. I noticed a tear rolling down her cheek. "I love you Emma." I said and kissed her wet cheek. "I love you too, Liam"

~~~23 years later~~~

Emma and I've been together for more than two decades now. My Emma has become pretty mature over the years. She is experienced and does not get shy in bed anymore.

She is a grown up lady now. But I still see my immature Emma in her all the time. She will always remain cute and innocent to me, like she was, 23 years ago.

Our parents approved our relationship and we got married 5 years ago. And guess what? We were blessed with a baby boy 3 years later.
