"So, I heard there's a new member of the SMP?" I ask, my character trotting along beside Tubbo's. "Yeah, his name is Ranboo." He says. "Cool name." I reply and Tubbo agrees.
RanbooFan: AAAAHHH RANBOO
TheMortalMachine: Who's Ranboo lol
TikTokTrauma: Ranboo?
Icarus: Oooh new person
We come up to the edge of the prime path that's closest to the spawn box. I spot a Minecraft character I'd never seen before, he had a gamertag that read 'Ranboo'. "Oh so that's him." I say and Tubbo confirms.
Tubbo_: Ranboo vc me and Y/S/N?
Ranboo's character looks at us then nods. A little while afterwards, I hear the noise of a new person joining the Vc. "Hi!" Me and Tubbo greet at the same time. "Woah, ok. Hi." Replies the deeper American voice. My face flushes at the sound of his voice. I prayed my chat didn't notice, but their eagle eyes picked it up.
LorenA: Awww she's blushing
TrickySeren127: Ranboo and Y/S/N confirmed???
BiblicallyInaccurate: I ship it already
I quickly skim the chat and I sigh. Why did I have to blush?
"So, you're new?" I ask, trying to strike up a conversation. "Uh, yup. Just joined yesterday." He says and I nod with a hum.
Tubbo starts talking to him about something or other and I just let myself listen to them. It was entertaining enough to listen to for both me and my chat, and when I realised I hadn't talked in a while, I think of something to say. "So, Ranboo, your skin. Is it half Enderman?" I ask and Ranboo starts explaining that it is, "what's the other half?" I ask and he reveals that he doesn't really know. Me and Tubbo laugh at that and Ranboo joins in a little.
"Your skin is cool too." He says and my face goes a bright red. "I- uh, thanks!" I reply and Tubbo cracks up even harder at the high pitch of my voice. "Shut up, Toob." I tease and then hastily change the subject.
Two hours later...
Me and Ranboo had been talking and building for about an hour. Tubbo had left just before.
"Oh boy, I have to go. Sorry Ranboo!" I say and he sighs before quickly mumbling: "oh no it's fine!"
I end the call, along with the stream.
I already knew I'd be good friends with Ranboo, but why did I blush? Was it just surprise, or was it something else?
