"Hey Gogs." You mutter, joining George's Vc.
"Hi Y/N!" He replies, smiling brightly. "You ok?" He adds on when you don't say anything else.
"Uh yeah? I think so, anyway. I'm nervous." You chuckle, well... nervously.
"It'll be fine." He assures.
"Yeah." You say, exhaling heavily.
Later...
"Hey Twitch chat!" You greet excitedly.
BimBamBoomBoom: My streamer returns!! We'll see if he has a face today!!!!
QueenB: HELLO Y/N
Y/Nfan11: Y/N!!!
SorryImGay: AAAAAA Y/N FACE REVEAL TIME
WhiteNoise: FACE REVEAL FACE REVEAL FACE REVEAL
Your chat explodes with excitement, and you smile nervously.
A few minutes later...
"Ok chat, are you ready?" You ask dramatically.
The chat agrees strongly, emojis and all capital letters being spammed left, right and centre.
Breathing nervously, you click the buttons necessary to turn on your facecam.
Y/Nfan9912: AAAA SO HANDSOME
ELECTRICELLE: omg you're so pretty Y/N
S@pN@p: Who's the hottie *f boy chin rub*
EricInnit: I AM CRYING- YOU ARE SO HOT
You smile and your face heats up nervously. "Hi?" You greet nervously, raising your hand and waving.
You read over the chat and you flush even harder. "Thanks guys, I'm so glad you like... me?" You chuckle.
The chat carries on their rant over your looks and you take the time to message George to check if he's still free.
You: Oi gogs
Georgenotfound: hi
You: Are you still free to join my stream?
Georgenotfound: oh yeah I forgot about that
of course I am :)
You: Alright I'll call you now
You click the 'video call' option and wait nervously for George to pick up.
He does, and you can see his confused face at your face to face call.
You pull the call up on screen so your chat can see George's reaction.
You turn on your facecam for George too, and his eyes widen.
"Y/N!" He exclaims, and you push your lips together into a straight line.
"Oh my god! You're so- Y/N!" He says, dumbfounded.
"I'm so?" You prompt, confused.
"You're so pretty!" He blurts out finally.
Your eyebrows raise and your face goes bright red.
George's face does something similar, but he looks a bit more like he wants to die than you.
"Thanks, Gogs." You mumble, trying to break the awkward atmosphere with the use of his nickname.
It works a little.
George swallows, and desperately tries to move on.
A while later...
"Aaaah! George! Help!" You call, running desperately from a skeleton jockey.
George laughs loudly, shooting the skeleton with his bow.
"George, my saviour!" You praise, smiling widely.
George flushes, and mutters something about you overreacting.
"George, is it just the lighting in your room or are you sick or something? You look red, man." You ask, concerned.
George just shakes his head, "I'm fine, the lighting's fine." He says and you narrow your eyes.
"Then why are you so red?" You inquire, and George sighs heavily.
"Well, y'know... before, I could pretend you were ugly or something, but now..." he trails off, leaving you confused.
"What do you mean 'pretend I was ugly'? Why would you need to?" You quiz, and George sets his jaw, thinking.
You hear him start to click away at the keys on his keyboard, and then a discord message pops up on your screen from George.
You make sure chat can't see the message, then click on it.
Georgenotfound: I like you
You read over the message about a million times, making sure you'd read it correctly. Meanwhile, your chat was left confused as to what was happening.
You: Why lol
Georgenotfound: what kind of question is that
You: I mean, you've seen me..
Georgenotfound: and you're
handsome
which I don't think is fair
You: What?
Georgenotfound: you can't be handsome and have a great personality, it's not allowed :(
You: You can't say much mr notfound
Georgenotfound: ?
You: You're handsome too
You notice that you and George had been sitting in complete silence, just messaging eachother. Your eyes widen, then you give a nervous smile.
"Sorry, chat!" You mumble clicking on the 'I'll be back soon!' panel on your stream options.
Georgenotfound: haha thanks Y/N
You: I'm serious
Georgenotfound: oh
so...
You: So...
Oh btw I like you too :)
You click off your discord tab and then return to your stream. You turn off the waiting screen, and apologise for going quiet.
A long while later...
"Ok, so that's it! Thanks for joining today, chat!" You wrap up your stream, "I'll be back on Friday! Bye!"
You click 'End Stream' and then let out a big sigh of relief.
Discord: You have 3 new messages from Georgenotfound
"Oh." You say to yourself, then click on to Discord.
Georgenotfound: what
are you serious

You: Yes, I'm serious dumbass
Why would I lie?
Georgenotfound: fair
oh wow
I can't believe this
You: Gogs do I need to get you an oxygen mask lol
Georgenotfound: maybe lol
You: Oh I've gtg

You chuckle as you click off Discord, taking off your headphones and standing up from your gaming chair. You place your hands on your back and lean back, cracking it.
