꧁ 𓀡 ꧂

After the pharaoh exited from his chambers, Yugi watched him leave. He couldn't help but to think about their conversation. The small boy blushed as he was almost intimate with his partner. They have been together since he has solved the puzzle, so they are pretty close.

The pharaohs' words are very heartwarming; he thought back to when Yami would stare off into space. His partner would usually stare off, so it is nothing new.

But he was looking right at him.

His stare was intimidating, he would not lie. But he could sense something else entirely. His eyes grew dark for a second until Yugi interrupted his daydream.

Before Yugi left his partner's chambers, he took off his dancers headpiece and placed it on his desk where his jewelry box stood. This piece signifies as a thanks for saving him from Set.

Smiling, he left his partner's chambers and headed towards the opposite direction where the pharaoh went. He can't wait to see Yami again. Yugi felt like his chest would burst. He didn't know what he was getting into. Now, the pharaoh knows he is here and he wants to see him again. West gardens at noon.

At the same time, Yami's eyes lit up when he found out he was here - almost like he was relieved. Yugi doesn't blame him, not one bit.

Everything is so confusing.

Yugi is used to bright lights, vehicles passing by, even having his own bedroom! At least a running shower.

For now, he needs to get used to Egypt. He is enjoying it, besides being degraded. He knew that slaves aren't treated too kindly during this time. So, he needs to be on his best behavior. If not. . .

Yugi shook that thought as he traveled down through multiple hallways. He had no idea where he was. There are so many halls going left, right, and forwards.

Is he supposed to go back to the banquet? He could serve the wine, or hand out more food. Maybe dance some more? It would give him an excuse to see the pharaoh again and to watch his face. For some reason, he wants his partner to watch him dance. He doesn't know why but he really does. Maybe he wants his praise again, maybe he wants Yami to tell him how good of a dancer he is. Or maybe he could see that stare once again. But this time. . .

Yugi blushed as he shook his head once again, his mind suddenly went downwards. He should not be thinking about his partner that way, then why does he feel happy? Excited? Is it the anticipation of the pharaoh's eyes on him?

Or is it something else?

Sighing, Yugi looked up as he ended up in the gardens. He was so in his thoughts that he was heading to somewhere so far away from the throne room.

They really need to make signs so everyone won't be confused.

He stepped down from the stone steps and looked around. Beautiful flowers around him as there is a fountain that flows across the garden. Yugi was in awe as he looked around. When he continued walking, he saw a stone bench that has an arc full of flowers.

Sighing, he sat down and looked at the sky. The moon is full tonight, the stars are gleaming just as bright. Yugi felt at peace, he should really come here. In all honesty, he had no idea if he was allowed here. This is probably meant for the pharaoh and his court. Or maybe for others who are higher ranked.
