"It was him, Alora. I know what I saw last night--"
"We don't know for sure, Himeko. I get it- you just lost the guy that you love--"
"No!" The hair-brushing suddenly stopped. Chest falling with a heavy breath, the said teen sucked in a long breath in and out of her mouth and nose to calm herself from letting out a sudden burst of emotion.
Sitting on the chair next to the fourteen-year old was the advisor, who did the see same man last night, but was ticked off about something. Even though both her eyes saw him, something wasn't right.
"I saw the same thing you, Himeko. I saw him with my own eyes, but something about his presence irked me the wrong way. I'm not saying you're wrong, it's just we can't be too sure nothing happened to him with Queen Beryl in the Dark Kingdom."
"You're right about that, but I can ask Eisuke about him at school. They're brothers. They're bound to meet at some point."
"Do you think my hair is ever going to be normal again, Alora?"
"I honestly have no idea." The cat answered honestly, "But it doesn't look bad on you."
In front of her vanity with a brush in hand, Himeko toyed with her new hair by raking her fingers through the incredibly soft locks, turning her head side to the side before peeking down to watch the ombre colours gleam in the sun's light.
"But, for it make sense, this is Princess Serenity's natural hair colour. Maybe after you awakened as your true self, your hair also awakened to its true colour?"
Head also teetering from side to side as she stared at the young woman's face, visions of the Princess from the past flashed in the feline's mind as the same Princess sat before her- the youth and innocence still on her face even a thousand years in the future.
"Anyways," Himeko set the brush down after she styled her hair, "I need to think of an outfit."
"Even though you're only getting groceries?" Alora followed her to the closet, watching clothes fly out each second.
"Even though I'm walking five blocks down, I might see someone I like." Mamoru's smiling face was the first thing Himeko thought of as she took out a dress, "A-And besides, summer's in a few weeks. It's getting warm outside and I need to shop for more clothes."
Holding the pink-flowery dress against her body before slipping into it, the small smile on her face slowly fell as she poked at the sides of her stomach- the feeling of 'extra skin' dwindling her hopes.
"What's wrong?" Alora took quick notice of the teen's sour mood. Turning her body around to stare at herself sideways, the white-silver haired girl sucked in stomach in as tight as possible.
"Um, I don't know how I feel about this dress."
"No, why?" Her fingers fished for a cardigan to cover herself, "You look so cute in the dress. Why do you have to cover it up?"
"I'm not like Minako or Rei who can walk out of the house and look amazing in whatever they wear. I need to deeply think about what I'm wearing before anything."
"Of course you're not them, you're you."
Shoulders more relaxed as just a bit of the hem could be seen from the bottom of the large cardigan, Himeko slung a bag big enough for Alora to sit in on her shoulders before stepping into a pair of white socks.
"I need to lay of cake and sweets for a bit--"
"No! You always have cake and crepes!" The feline jumped up to cup the girl's cheeks with her paws to stare into her eyes with concern.
