I was given a smile the other day
From someone who passed me on their way.
I wasn't sure what I should do.
Perhaps, you guys tell me.
If I should keep it for myself,
Put it on the kitchen shelf.
Then it would be a awesome
To bring some happiness to me.
Somehow that doesn't feel just right
For me to keep it in my sight
When there are others who might need it
No one is perfect, at some. Point we all need a helping hand
To help one feel like somebody cares.
There is one thing we all should know.
A smile is like the candle's glow.
No matter how many candles we share
That light, still glows brighter
So when I go out on the street,
No matter whom I by any chance meet,
I share with them my precious smile,
A smile is like a helping hand.
I'm hoping that you will agree
And someday share a smile with me
Making people happy is not too much work
It doesn't need any labour
Sometimes just you talking to someone makes a difference
Giving a helping hand doesn't necessarily fall under giving people money
Some might just need company to make the whole
Let's focus on helping others
Make a difference in your life
It's that simple
Not a question where you are supposed to look for answers
Make good use of your time
