OC's name: Moeru
Name meaning: blazing

Katara looked at the firebender sitting next to her. He was angrier than usual, and very irritable. "Hey? Moeru?" Katara asked.
Moeru didn't respond. Instead, he seemed to want to ignore her more. He had tear tracks from the night before, and a slap mark over his scar where Sokka had hit him.
"I know he doesn't like you, but-"
Katara's voice was cut short by an unusual sound- sobbing. Coming from the person next to her. "I don't get it," Moeru said through tears.
"Don't get what?" Katara said anxiously.
"Why do you trust me? I was in league with Fire Lord Ozai, tried to kill you and the rest of the team, yet YOU STILL LOVE ME! I DON'T GET IT!" Moeru screamed.
Katara gave him a kiss on the cheek, and all anger flushed out of him. He looked at the waterbender, who was smiling at him.
"It's because we don't care, and if they do, at least know that I don't care."
