Asylum (Leonardo x OC)

Awake

Once the boys got to where April was, they were just as shocked as her.

"Is that a kid?" Casey asked while analyzing her.

"I don't think so," answered Donnie while putting on his glasses to analyze her. "I can't find any type of ID on her, but this shows that there's a 97% chance that she seventeen to eighteen years old."

"Wait, what do you mean you can't find any ID?" questioned Leo while approaching the girl a bit closer.

Donnie looked up at Leo from his squatted position. "I used my face recognition software, and nothing is coming up. No ID, no driver's license, no birth certificate, nothing."

"All I wanna know is what the hell is that chick covered in." Exclaimed Raph while backing away a bit.

"Well, according to scans, and even the smell, I'd say they're fluid from rotted organs, a corpse." Donnie said while looking away a bit.

"Hold up, this little dudette killed someone?" Asked Mikey with a worried expression.

"No Mikey he's saying that they're from someone who was already dead." Answered April while backing up the same distance as Raph and Casey.

"She looks injured, and you said she fell from the sky?" Asked Donnie with a raised eyebrow ridge.

April looked down at him. "Well, I didn't see her fall per se, I just know that I walked by this alley, I was about to leave but I heard something fall behind me, I turned around and there she was just lying there."

"We should get away from here, April do you think we could bring her back to your place?" asked Leo while keeping a close eye on the girl.

"I mean sure, but how's she gonna get there? I mean I can't carry her." April asked and looked up at her boyfriend.

Casey raised an eyebrow "Don't look at me, she's not getting in my brand new car."

"I ain't doin it." huffed out Raph

"I don't think I'll make it dude" Mikey said while covering his snout.

"I don't wanna mess up any of my equipment." Donnie said while getting up from his crouched position.

Everyone looked at the leader in blue.

Leo rolled his eyes and sighed. "Fine, I'll carry her, but you guys owe me!"

Everyone shot him a little smile.

Leo gathered all of his courage and lifted the girl into his arms bridal style. Everyone laughed at him when he pretty much gagged at her scent.

"It's not funny! You wanna carry her Raph?" He grumbled out

"Woah woah woah there fearless." Raph exclaimed while holding his arms up in a fake surrender. "I ain't carryin' her, that's all you right there."

Leo huffed. "Let's go, it's already been way too long."

The turtles then made their way up the rooftops and headed to Aprils apartment, while April and Casey got into the car.

In the apartment...

"So you're just gonna leave her there?" Asked Raphael while looking at the girl on the floor.

Leo sighed. "I'm sure April wouldn't want her touching any of her furniture covered in...that." He said while gesturing to her clothing soaked in fluids.

Soon April and Casey walked into the apartment, and the smell instantly smacked them in the face.

"Jesus that girl needs a bath." Exclaimed Casey while fanning the air in front of him.

"Or ten." added Mikey

"You just put her on the floor...?" asked April while looking at Leo

"I mean, yeah? Did you want me to put her on the couch?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Nope! Floor is fine!" April giggled nervously.

"What're we gonna do when she wakes up?" asks Casey while eyeing the girl.

"I mean, probably question her. She came from absolutely nowhere! There was nowhere she could've fallen from, and she has all this gunk on her. I'm pretty sure we're all itching for an explanation." April says while taking a seat on the couch.

Donnie nods. "She's right. We need to get some answers from her. There seems to be a lot to unfold here."

"So should we just wait it out?" asks Raph

"I mean, that seems to be the only thing we can do right now." sighs out April

Casey placed a reassuring hand on her back.

"How about we all head out and April can take care of her when she wakes up? She doesn't seem very threatening, aside from the fluids all over her." Donnie suggested.

"Seems pretty solid dude, but what about those?" Mikey asks while pointing on the weapons the girl has on her.

Casey stood up from his seat next to his girlfriend. "I'll take em"

He then removed the knife from the girl's thigh, removed the gun from her back, and took the pistol out of her ankle holster.

"Wonder what she had all this for." questions Raph

"Self defense maybe?" suggests April

"Nah, nobody carries all this for self defense." answers Casey while holding up all three of the girl's weapons.

He then put her weapons in a little storage closet and places her backpack in there with them.

"That should be fine." he says while wiping his hands off on his pants.

"Well you sure you got everything covered April?" asked Leo

"Yeah you guys go ahead, I'll be fine." April answers with a sweet smile.

Leo smiles back and nods. They boys then all waved goodbye as they all went out of her window and into the city.

Casey turns toward her. "Call me if you need anything alright?"

April smiles and wraps her arms around his neck while he wraps his around her waist. "I'll be fine Casey"

Casey smiles and places a sweet kiss on her lips. "I don't doubt that."

April giggles and sends him a wink. "I'll call in the morning to let you know how everything goes."

Casey nods and kisses her cheek. "Alright, I'll take my leave."

April kisses him goodbye right before he heads out the door and exits her penthouse.

April sighs and starts to walk toward the kitchen, but before she leaves the room, she hears a soft groan from behind her. She whips around to face the girl, who is now awake and starting to sit up. She rushes over and helps the girl sit up straight.

"Hey are you ok? What happened?" April asks with a worried expression.

The girl rubs her eyes and looks up to see who's talking to her, and she gets startled when she realizes she's never seen this person before. She starts scrambling away from April.

"Hey hey I'm not gonna hurt you I promise!" she reassures the frightened girl.

The girl calms down but still stays alert, her eyes continuing to dart around the room.

"My name is April. I'm here to help you. What's your name?"

The girl looked her up and down before finally speaking. "Arat. Arat Yehia."
