''We're done... Sorry Drew... but I guess is for the best..'' Jake said. Those words... broke my heart... I couldn't believe it... just for a... stupid... mistake... I... n-no... ''Wait! J-Jake! Let me e-explain please!''  ''No... Just leave. I don't want to hear anything. I can't believe it.''

''Just forget him...'' I thought to myself. It hurts still... Can't get him out of my mind... Ugh...

Jake's p.o.v.
I was eating breakfast when my phone started ringing, it was my girlfriend, Hailey (yEs yEs SoRrY fOr mAkiNg jAiLeY cAnOn HeRe- bUt nOt FoR lOnG-)  I answered. ''Hey Jake!'' ''Heyyyyyy'', I answered. ''Why'd you call?'' I asked. ''Well- I wanted to ask if we could go for an ice cream today, like, right now!'' I wasn't busy, so, why not? ''Sure! I'll just finish eating breakfast, and I'll be right there!'' ''Alright, see ya Jake!'' ''Bye Hailey!'' I finished eating breakfast and got dressed, then left.

I was already there, when I saw Hailey, she waved at me. ''Hello Jake!'' ''Hey Hailey!'' I said as I kissed her cheek. ''So... what ice cream flavor do you want..?'' I asked. ''Mint and chocolate!'' She said. But... That made me remember something... That w-was... D-drew's favorite... I-ice cream... ''Jake?'' ''Jake are you there?'' I heard a voice, I was pretty distracted. ''O- Yeah sorry-'' ''It's fine'', she said ''Anyway, here's your ice cream'', I said. ''Thanks!- Oh wait- My parents are calling me- I should go home now-'' Hailey said. ''Oh aight, see ya!'' I said as she left. Hm.. what should I do now? I got very distracted that I didn't notice my ice cream fell to the floor... but.. I heard a voice ''I'll buy you another one'', Someone said, that person looked very familiar... ''D-Drew?'' I couldn't believe it. Of all people it could be, it was him. Drew. My ex-boyfriend. ... It really had to be him? ''Yeah, it's me, now, is there a problem with it?'' ''No... but...'' ''I'll just buy you another one, k?'' He said. ''Uhm... Okay I guess...'' I responded. I mean, I wasn't going to be mean... ''Here ya go.'' He said as he gave me the ice cream. ''Thanks... Uh..'' It was pretty akward to be honest. ''I guess I'll leave now.'' Drew said. ''Wait-'' I tried to say something but he already left. sigh.

Why the fuck did I do that?! Couldn't I just fucking pass by and leave like that?! Oh god... Suddenly, I got a text it was from... Jake..? Why'd he even text me... I thought... nevermind I'll just check the text.

Jake - Hey Drew- Uh- I wanted to ask something.
Jake- Drew?
Drew - What is it?
Jake - Well, I wanted to ask if we could meet at the coffee shop today, yk, just to talk
Drew - Why that?-
Jake - Uh well just wanted to talk to you that's all but I mean, just if ya want idk
Drew - Ig then... cya there

What does he want? I think this is gonna be so awkward. Anyways, I'll just get dressed.

Jake's p.o.v.
I hope he comes... I mean, I don't think he's coming after all- Suddenly, I saw him in the coffee shop... Well, he did come at least. ''Here..'' I said as he came and sit down. ''Why did you call me?'', He asked. Honestly I didn't really know, I just felt like talking to him. ''Uh.. Well, just wanted to talk to you!'', I said. ''Oh k. Uh'' ''Drew?'' ''Yeah?'' I couldn't believe what I was about to ask but... I really miss him. ''Can we be... f-friends again?'', I asked... I didn't know what would he respond. ''F-friends?'' ''Yeah... just friends...'' ''I... just... Yeah... Okay then...'', He said, he looked nervous, what was bothering him? Should I ask..? ''Hey Drew are you okay?'', I asked. ''Y-yeah fine...'' He said. ''Drew..?''

Drew's p.o.v.
I didn't know what to do or how to feel now. Suddenly I just ran of the coffee shop the faster I could... I really regret this... I can't... he probably hates me now... I shouldn't have ran away... he asked me to at least be his friend... but... I ran away just like that. I... I miss him so much... I felt a tear falling down my cheek... I just started crying... I didn't notice I had like 5 texts from Jake... Should I check them?

Jake - Drew??
Jake - Why did you run away..?
Jake - Hey you alright?
Jake - I'm sorry...


Jake - I love you..

Drew - W-what?
Jake - Yeah... I do...



Jake - Do you still love me..?

Everything had gone nice now... I'm so happy... But I really miss him... Drew... I'll never forget you just as I promised... I'll always love you... Even you're not here... I won't break our promise...  I'll wait for you...


~Flashback~

I walked to Drew's house, he told me to go there he wanted to tell me something- I don't know- So I'll just go there. ''Hey Jake! I wanted to tell you that I'm going on vacation with my family tomorrow, but... sadly you can't come, so I wanted to say bye for now! I'll miss you but I promise I'll be back in a week!'' He said. I'll miss him, but he'll be back so no worries! I'll just wait a week...


Or that's what I thought.

A week... 2... 3... A whole month but he didn't come back... Never... I wondered if he was even... Alive... I don't know... I really miss him.. he promised me... That... H-he'll be back... He wouldn't break a promise... I... I wish you didn't leave...
