A man leaves his father and mother, and united to his wife, and they become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)
The verse says three things:
a) When a man maries, he leaves his parents.
b) His wife becomes his closest relative.
c) He and his wife enjoy sex together. (They "become one flesh.")
Many magazines, TV programmes, and films twist sex, trying to make it dirty.
But the Bible shows us how beautiful it is for a wife to enjoy sex with her husband. In the book the Bible called "Song of Solomon," the wife says to her husband:
"Let your lips cover me with kisses.(1:2)
How handaome you are, my lover!
How you excite me!" (1:16)
And the handsome says:
"My bride, your lips drip honey.
You, my bride, are a garden; a garden locked to others. Your garden is field with... delicious fruit." (4:11-13)
How this husband and wife enjoy loving each other? Notice she did not say to her husband, "Come, make pregnant. Don't waste time to trying to get me excited. Be quick. . .I need my sleep."
No. Sex is not just a way to produce children. God's plan for sex is this: a man leaves his parents, is united to his wife. And they enjoy sex with each other. In the beginning God design sex for marriage. What happens to people who turns their backs on God and have sex outside the marriage? Their sin brings unhappiness to their marriage and to their children.
Happy are the people who abey God by not having sex with anyone outside the marriage..
"A husband and wife who obey God by loving each other, and having sex with each only, they are the ones who find the greatest joy in marriage. "
All over the world, many people reject God and live in sexual sin. Yet, the judgement day is coming. God commands each person: Turn from sin, and trust rightious in God's eyes.
Study the following verses carefully.
People who commit fornacation, or worship idols, or commit adultery... Or do homosexual sin, or are thieves... Or drunkards… will never receive the kingdom of God.
In the past, some of you were like that.
But now you are washed. The Lord Jesus Christ took your sin and made you righteous in Gof's eyes, (i.e He justified you). [1 Corinth. 6:9-11]
