Chapter 16

1st December 2012. I'm officially living with the Follese' Family for two months now ! Moreover, today's my 17th birthday ! I open up my eyes, feeling very giddy today. I'm very excited to get an official birthday wish from this family. When I used to be a normal fan, I tweeted Ryan and Jamie to wish me on my birthday but I didn't get any. I was so dissapointed especially when Jamie tweeted another fan happy birthday but not me. Anna is still sleeping, I slid off the bed, tip toe-ing towards the door. It's really early though. It's just 7am, I used to wake up around 7.45am but today I'm feeling very special. I make my way to the kitchen and open the fridge. Hmm, what should I make today? Egg & Bacon ! Sounds delicious ! I take out a bag of bacons and a tray of eggs. I walked over to the stove and turns them on. I took a pan and drizzled on some olive oil. I throw in some strips of bacon and the eggs, right after the bacon cooks. "Something smells good" I look up when I saw Mom came in to the kitchen with her sleeping gown. "Good Morning Mom" I smiled and she came to help me up with the plating. Okay, did I missed anything out? So, Mom forgot it's my birthday? I should chill, maybe they didn't know. I don't remember telling them when's my birthday. I shouldn't feel this down, maybe I don't really deserve to have such high hopes on. I mean, me, Christia, celebrating my birthday with the Follese' family? Oh snap. I should just eat my breakfast and maybe just chill all day. One of the many ways to spend my sweet 17 birthday.

When everyone's on the table, we started talking about school, sports, and music. I had to say I was so dissapointed of the fact that none of them knew it's actually my birthday but maybe I should just keep it to myself. Who am I to complain anyway? After breakfast, I helped mom with the dishes. I couldn't stop thinking about cheese cake. Haha I know that's so random. I really love cheese cake. And back in home, My Mom and sisters would bake me an ice cream cheese cake with lots and lots of whipped cream on it. We used to play with the whipped cream and rub it on each other's face. Speaking of my family, I missed them so much. Which is also reminding me of Melissa. We haven't talk for like 3 days. I should just skype with her today, at least she knows how to make me feel better inside out. Done with the dishes, I made my way upstairs, climbing the same stairs. Jamie and Ryan are playing games, I don't wanna disturb them. Jamie insisted me to play with him, but I'm not really in a good mood to play games right now. I told him I was going to take a shower first and maybe I'll join him after that. I walked briskly and lay on the bed. I looked at the ceiling. This is a very sad birthday, hmm. I got up, grabbed my towel and went into the bathroom for a long birthday shower. After the 20 minutes shower, I put on my favorite grey tank tops with a light blue shorts. I jumped on the bed, switching on my laptop, hoping to skype with Melissa. "She's not on ! Fuck" Getting mad over the fact Melissa's not online and she's outta town today was very depressing. Instead, I scrolled on my timeline on twitter. Some of my friends did wished me happy birthday and I'm thankful that someone actually knows it. Melissa also tweeted me a wish and some of the beautiful freaks did so too. Knock Knock. I looked up at the door and sees Ryan standing by my door. "Wanna company me for a quick shop? I need to buy something for Morgan and I need a girls' opinion." He asked. "Sure. I'll be downstairs in a sec" I told him and got out of the bed. He nooded and went out. I decided to go out with Ryan since I'm so bored today and being sad  all day is not good too. I had a quick rummage through my closet and picked out a blue color tee paired up with a skinny jeans. I tied my hair up and shoved my phone & purse into my handbag. All set. 

Ryan drove us to the mall in town and the drive took about 20 minutes. Jamie was behaving pretty weird today because he didn't want to follow us along. He insisted to stay home which is so not him because the normal Jamie would follow me wherever I go eventhough I'm just with Ryan or Anna. Mom and Dad were nowhere to be found after breakfast and Anna was out, going for a jog. Back to me and Ryan, We got inside a shop full of teddy bears and plushie. Ryan wanted to buy that huge type of bear for Morgan. He asked me to choose the type of bear I would really love to own.  Isn't he sweet? I walked around the shop and found a cute brownish huge bear with a cute puppy kinda eyes. I took it and showed it to Ryan. He nodded and smiled. "I'm buying this one. Good choice Tia. But you have to carry them for me." He said to me. I turned my head and pointed at myself. "Me?" He laughed. "Yes, you Christia." He walked over to the counter to pay, I still have the bear in in my arms. "but why me? You're a guy. Carry them please?" Ryan paid for the bear, but he ignored my pleads. I rolled my eyes. "It's for you, so you carry them. Besides, I carried a lot of stuffs for your party and my back hurts." Did I just heard something party? What party? My party? I'm having a lot of thoughts on my mind right now and I need answer. I looked over at Ryan, he looked shocked. "My party? So you guys knew today's my birthday?" I asked. He shooked his head. "Don't lie Follese'. You just said it yourself." We walked out of the shop, Ryan threw his arm around me and carry the bear with his left arm. "Okay, You got me. I was supposed to bring you out so that they can prepare for the party. Can you just pretend to be suprised once we reached home? Please please please?" He used that puppy eyes again. I sighed. "Okay okay. I thought you guys forgot it's my birthday. Nah, I wouldnt mind though. I'm just a .." I wasn't done with my line and Ryan interrupted. "You're a part of our family, don't say that word Fan. You mean a lot too us too Tia, You made Jamie smile again. We love you! And Happy Birthday baby sister." He kissed my forehead. I'm so touched by his wise words, small tears fall down from the corner of my eyes. 

I hate pretending not knowing something I've known and I sucks at acting. Ryan told me to get inside first because he wants to park his car. The house looks so dark and I know they are all hidng right now. I opened the main door and still quiet. I walked a few steps and POP ! Small confetti falls and a huge crowd says "Happy Birthday Tia" I can practically see the house have changed into a party like house, and All of my friends from school came too ! Jamie walked over to me and kissed me on the cheek. "Happy Birthday baby, I love you" I kissed him on his lips and replied with "I love you too" Mom and Dad gave me a hug and thanked me for coming into their family. Anna hugged me too, she's like my best twin sister ever! "You guys, I actually got to know you were planning this earlier. So, it's not actually a 'suprise' party since Ryan accidentally told me the details" Everyone laughed. We walked over to the lawn which is decorated with colorful lights, a table full of foods and a table of games. When Ryan came inside, everyone was mad at him for ruining the suprise. He looked at me and just grinned. Nash and Ian were also there, including Chord. It's my first time seeing Chord personally, up-close and I am a huge fan of Glee ! He was so nice and tall. Jamie was being so nice to me and he treated me like a princess. He even fed me! "Tia !" Me and Jamie turned around to see who called out my name. It's Adam ! I haven't seen him in awhile since he got so busy with sports and extra activities in school. I got up off the bench beside the table of food. "hey adam!" I hugged him and I could hear Jamie clearing his throat. Adam smiled at him. "I'm just her friend bro. Just friends. Right Tia?" Adam looked at me. I nodded. I linked my arms with Jamie's and asked Adam to grab something to eat. 

After playing games, Mom took out the cake she made with Anna and the boys. It's a huge heart shaped ice cream cheese cake ! How did they know I love cheese cake so much? I felt so touched. Jamie wrapped his arms around my waist and they started singing the Happy Birthday song ! They crowd was cheering out loud when I blowed out the candles after making a wish. And as usual, the follebros are so witty, they scraped out the icing of the cake and smudged them on my cheeks. "JAMIE ! RYAN ! YOU GUYS ARE SO MEAN !" I yelled while running to catch them.  It was fun. We also played tag and musical chair. "Okay! It's time for the presents guys !" Mom screamed out. She waved at me and I walked to her. Jamie's arms was around me all the time and I felt very safe in his strong embrace. "I'll open the birthday presents now guys!" I yelled out to catch their attention. They finally gathered at the tables stacked with presents. "I'll open this one first!" I took a box wrapped with a  green paper. It was from Anna. She gave me a dress ! I hugged her and thanked her too. After presents by presents, there's finally three presents left. I opened up a box containing a necklace. The necklace I've always wanted. It says From: Adam Keane. I looked at Adam and he winked. "Want me to put it on you?" he asked. How did he know I wanted this? I nodded and he helped me with the necklace. "It's beautiful, thanks" I smiled. Jamie didn't look very comfortable. I took the last present. I thought there was supposed to be another one? Maybe I miscounted. It was a shirt with my face on it. It's so cute and its from Nash ! I winked at him and he blushed. Mom and Dad gave me the new iphone 5 eventhough I've told them I'm okay with my iphone 4s. Ryan got me the big Mr teddy and Anna gave me a dress. Jamie? Jamie didn't give me anything. I shouldn't mind though. He gave me his love already. "I don't have anything for you" Jamie whispered into my ear. Everyone continued with the party and left us both all alone. "I don't mind. I have you. That's the best present ever!" I leaned in and gave him a passionate kiss. Today is just perfect. But something is telling me, Jamie's hiding something from me.
