Dex POV
Dex rolled out of his twin bed at six A.M., Tuesday.
He checked his phone.
No messages, he thought, again.
He sighed. Not even any notifications.
Dex was a shy kid, yeah. And he might not be the most attractive, but he isn't completely ugly.
He does his best to look nice for school, he showers, brushes his hair and teeth, washes his face, every single morning. Yet, no girls, as far as he knows, even bat an eye.
He only has one friend, Keefe Sencen.
He is probably the coolest guy Dex knows.
His hair is perfect, his finger guns are amazing, and he's great with girls.
Dex sighed, but he was snapped out of his trance by the rattling and banging of his reckless siblings.
"BET YOU CAN'T SMASH THESE POTS HARDER THAN ME, LEX!" Bex, Dex's little sister yelled.
"OH YES I CAN!" Lex, Dex's little brother yelled.
"BUT I CAN LOUDER!!!" Rex yelled, Dex's second little brother.
Rex, Lex, and Bex were triplets. Also the bane of his existence.
Dex got dressed, washed his face, brushed his strawberry blonde hair, and walked downstairs.
He grumbled teenage angst, "Guys shut up."
Bex banged the pans in his face, "YOU'LL NEVER BE LOUDER!"
"NEVER EVER!" Lex and Rex yelled in unison.
Dex hopped on the couch and ran a hand through his hair.
His mom, Juline, scolded the triplets.
Dex started scrolling through his phone. His heart gave a flutter at the sight of a brunette girl with bright teal eyes.
Biana Vacker.
She was probably the prettiest girl in the world, she had perfect hair, perfect eyes, perfect skin, perfect, well, everything.
Dex had probably the biggest crush on her ever.
He also despised her brother, Fitz Vacker.
The most popular douche in school.
Granted, Fitz had never talked to Dex directly, but he still hated him.
Dex liked the picture of Biana and stuffed his phone into his pocket, he was about to be late for the bus.
He ran outside with his backpack and hopped onto the bus.
"Hey! Dizznee!" Keefe called from the back of the bus.
Dex smiled and walked over to him.
Keefe patted the spot beside him.
Dex sat down and put his bag down. "So, what's goin' on? Talked to that girl yet?" Keefe asked.
Dex's cheeks flushed, "Uh, no."
"It's only a matter of time before the school dance, you know."
Dex was completely zoned out as he watched Biana.
Her hair fell on her shoulders so gracefully, and she laughed with what seemed like no effort.
That boy was in love.
