Tying Up Loose Ends!

Okee so i didn't see any comments with questions so imma just tell you what the idea behind some random things were and why they were included!

Mariana and Jason

In the story they are Toms work buddies who he gets close two. They're my OCs and were planned to play big parts in the story.

Marianna was planned to be Toms admirer and cause trouble between Tom and Tord. She was going to be your classic mean girl who wants someone and would do whatever to get them. I'm not sure why I never went through with this but I did reference back to her when Tom goes to see Cassilda.

Now Jason was supposed to be Toms crush, he was originally going to be modeled after Tord but with a few differences. I ended up changing him to be different and thought I'd let him be a more neutral character. After Tom left to Norway, Jason was suppose to be in Liams place as he was going to have family in Norway and decide to join the army. So instead he was just a friend and just like Marianna, was referenced when Tom goes to see Cassilda.

Liam

Liam was a last minute addition. I originally wanted him to be a love interest to Tom, but be the only one with feeling. (If you can't tell I like love chaos) but then I never properly developed that plot early enough that when I finally got to it, their relationship as co workers/friends had been established.
He was going to be the original Jason but decided to change it, and so I took the old design choice and made him into Liam. If you read the descriptions of them you'll see that they're really similar. Because of how similar I made them, I decided that I'd make them twin brothers! Yes, you read that right.
The story was supposed to reveal them as brother when Tom is with them, and Jason was supposed to join later on when he goes to visit Liam but I never properly planned out their scenes as Liam was thrown in last minute.
Also, he was meant to in fact be a traitor for the army that took Tom.

Cassilda

Cassilda is another OC of mine that was added into the story last minute.

Although her role was kinda big she was meant to play an even bigger role. Including a fight a between her and Marianna over Tom.
I thought of her while eating strawberries so that explains the green eyes and strawberry blonde hair.
In the story, she was meant to try and convince Tom to leave the army after the kidnapping situation and drive a wedge between him and the others. They were going to head back to England where the fight with Marianna would occur.

The Knife Thing

If you remember early in the story I wrote a small but where Tom would, ya know, and Tord found out. Weeeelllll I wasn't liking the idea of that anymore because even writing that made me a little uneasy, so after I released that chapter and realized I would have to update about that, I choose to make it where he just stops and decided to reference it one last time when Pat sees while trying to help Tom in the plane.

Losers

If you got the reference, then you would have pieced together that in the chapter Losers, the two men in the room were in fact Eduardo and Mark, and the photo Tord found was in fact a photo of Jon.
The original idea was that they wanted pay back for what Tord did to Jon and when they discovered that the guys were with him in the army, they wanted revenge and somehow discovered what they had forgotten and used it against them. I never planned t out well so I ended up dropping it.
I actually forgot that I included them because I was more focused on the memories and how things would connect. Like I said I spent a lot of time on the finale to make sure it made sense and tied up to the plot that I forgot what I included in previous chapters.
But yeah they were meant to be the ones behind all this.
