{Toms POV}

I woke up, feeling tied down to a chair. The back of my head was in pain, I clenched my fists and tried to remember what had happened. This is why I shouldn't drink at night.

I couldn't see or hear, and it made me uneasy. For all I know someone could be right in front of me, ready to kill me, and I wouldn't have a clue. I could only smell the scent of gasoline and metal, not the best scent combination but better than nothing.

I felt my anxiety build up in me. My chest was feeling compressed and my breathing was getting shaky.

I tried to pull my arms off the chairs arm rests but they wouldn't budge. My let's weren't able to move and I was starting to get restless.

I took a deep breath and tried to think of good things. I could hear Ringos purrs, her meows whenever I'd get home. Matt's muffled out chatter while I zoned him out. The sound of Edds pencil whenever he'd draw. Thinking of these sounds helped me calm down a bit.

I started to think about Jason and Marianna, how we'd chat non stop using sigh language, hearing their voices and laughter after getting my hearing aids. God I miss them.

Memories of those I loved flashed before me, hearing every laugh, every conversation, every argument.

And that's when Tord came into mind. Countless arguments played in my head. All the insults, the fighting, the down talk. I couldn't think of any of the good memories between us. How is it that we were ever friends?

While thinking of Tord, I felt a hand grab my chin and make me look up. My breathing froze and I couldn't move. Whoever was in front of me was wearing a glove. They turned my head a little both ways, probably getting a good look of me.

Soon the hand left my chin but my head stayed in place. I didn't know what they had planned for me, so I have to find a way out. Somehow.

I took a deep breath and tried to twist my wrists out from the restraints. I didn't get to try for long when the same hand grabbed my chin. They turned my head slightly to the left and kept me there. I didn't know what to expect.

I was trying to think of something to get me out when I felt something sharp prick through the skin of my neck. I breathing stopped in shock, I felt a liquid being shot into my neck and chills went down my spine.

A moment after, they removed what I presume to be a needle from my neck and let go of me. I rubbed my neck against my shoulder and closed my eyes.

After that, nothing. No other needle, no hand on my chin, nothing.

I still wasn't sure if I was being watched so I took mental notes of the things I knew, the smell, the feel of the glove, needle, anything to try and escape.

Let's hope this works.

{Tords POV}

Tom has only been gone for a few hours, but we couldn't help but worry.

Paul and Pat were looking at ways to break into the enemy's base and get out safely while Edd and Matt were making sure the weapons were in good condition. Liam was just hovering between the two helping in any way he could.

I was looking through floor plans trying to find where Tom could be. The place was pretty big so we'd have to be fast. Looking at the plans, I thought it to be much harder to go in with a big troop and decided that taking a lot of soldiers won't end well. So this will have to be just Paul, Pat and I.

I don't get how there's still active soldiers there at the enemies base when I literally shot the dude dead! Be probably had some sort of second in command or something. Just great, now to find that one and kill him too.

I was in Toms room trying to find something that could help us. I was only there for a moment when his phone went off. I grabbed it from the nightstand and checked the caller ID. Cassilda.

I huffed and declined. I saw that he had lots of missed calls from her, even texts. Esh, clingy much? She called again and I once again declined. Bad idea.

She called back over and over again but I just kept declining. I was getting annoyed so I just turned the phone off.

Sheesh, how does Tom put up with her? And here I was thinking I was annoying.

I shrugged to myself and just looked around. I gathered what was left of Toms visors and hearing aids and put them each into a separate bag. Hopefully we can rebuild the visors.

I was about to leave when i heard the sound of glass being hit. I looked down and saw I had kicked the bottle with blood a bit. Ten it hit me, the bottle could have finger prints of however took Tom!

I grabbed one of Toms shirts from the ground and carefully picked the bottle up. I made my way down to the lab and had the scientists look for finger prints.

I spent the rest of the day making sure we were making good progress and checked up on everyone. Once it was around 10 o clock, those who weren't on patrol or a scientist were to go to their sleeping quarters immediately. With Tom gone I don't want to risk there being a spy among us. So this was the best option in my opinion.

Once I knew everyone was where they were supposed to be, I went down to the workshop with the bag of pieces and settled at one of the desk. I dumped the broken pieces of the visor on the surface and began to work.

I pulled up several of the old blueprints made for them and looked for the one that we needed up choosing. Only problem was, there were many options.

I sighed to myself and spent an hour reading through different blueprints. Once I found the right one, I got right to work on fixing these for when we get Tom back.
