DREAM

"Now ask again, pretty boy. Maybe a little nicer this time."

He blushed cutely, and didn't meet my eyes. "Fine. May I ask why you've kidnapped me and locked me in this room?"

I chuckled. I guess that's good enough.

Funnily enough, as I had been in the elevator to our penthouse, I'd gotten a call from my secretary.

Apparently, my useless personal assistant had been bribed by a police officer, and ran off. I had Sam go shoot him in the head before he got too far.

More importantly, now I had an opening for a PA, which meant I had a reason to keep our guest here close to me.

"I have an opening for a personal assistant job." I looked down at my phone, at the profile Sam had sent me. "It definitely pays better than your programming job, George."

He seemed suspicious that I knew his name. "You brought me all the way here for a job opening? I've never even met you!"

"Well that's not the only reason," I continued, and smirked a bit. "Every once in a while, I'll get a little bored, and personal assistant doesn't have to be purely professional."

I think he got the memo, because his eyes widened and he stepped back. "You want me to be a prostitute?"

I laughed. He was adorable. "No, you'll work for me as a PA. But I don't give just anyone an opportunity like this."

"That sounds suspicious," he replied slowly. "Why does a mafia leader need an assistant?"

"To any of my partners, I'm just a regular businessman," I replied. "To scam people, you need to appear professional."

"So you're more like a big con artist."

"In the mafia, yes. Well, are you taking the job? Although, you don't really get a choice."

"Huh? Why?"

"I've already arranged for your resignation from your previous job. Plus, now that you know my identity, you can't leave here alive." I told him. He looked rather pale.

"What?! Why?" he demanded.

"Security reasons," I explained. "It's also hard to hire people to work for me, so I tend to just drag them into it."

"Let me leave," he stated. "I'll keep my mouth shut, I promise."

I clicked my tongue. "Sorry, no can do."

"What will you do if I leave right now?" He retorted.

"Usually, you'd get shot by my hit man. But in your case, I'd drag you back," I said honestly. "My offer won't be as reasonable next time, I'm warning you. Maybe hiring you as a prostitute isn't such a bad idea..."

"What?! Okay, okay, I'll work for you," he finally agreed. "You're crazy, threatening people so casually."

I smiled at him. "Oh, you've only seen the tip of the iceberg, sweetheart."
